ember was limping about 2 weeks. she had to be sedated for the xrays, but the thief was discovered in her left shoulder. there were no visible lumps, just this limp

Comment on YouTube.

 Embers' Dad,

Thank goodness you have a really good vet. My Buster was limping for months and taken to 2 vets while being misdiagnosed as inflammation due to trauma. With cancer time is of the essence....  Like the limping wasn't enough of a red flag, then the tumor ....
I checked out the videos and Ember she looks great. How about her diet or supplements? Food for thought...

i just transitioned her to innova evo kibble & canned. she takes glucosamine & msm for her mild arthritis and i am going to start her back on the prozyme. treats are freeze dried liver treats, and wellness wellbars. she also got some home made "burpdog bisuits" as a get well gift.

Thank you for sharing Ember's video. It may help others recognize serious issues with their own dogs!

Wanna compare limps?

This was the day I was admitted for my osteosarcoma amputation surgery.

Hi Ember & Ember's Dad!

I just spent some time on YouTube.com and watched several of your videos of Ember!  I plan to go back for more viewing soon, and just became a subscriber so I'll know when you have new videos posted.  The way you talk to your dog is so sweet and reassuring.  I'm glad you are on my favorite website of all time, http://www.tripawds.com!  Welcome!

Hi Ember!!

That's some limp you have there. I hope you don't have a lot of pain.

I think ANY limp or just not walking "quite right" is something to be gone over real well.

Having worked with greyhounds I learned to recognize when a gait is "off" and the way they walk, where the pain might be originating from. Always insist on an x-ray, they are so non-invasive and can tell a lot.

Let's hope this monster can be contained someday & not rob us of our loved ones anymore!!
