One of our well known kitties here, JILL, had Carboplatin. Someone will have to give you the links to her blogs. As I recall, it really hadn't been tested that thoroughly in cats at the time.

Jill beat that piece of crap disease for a couple of years and crossed over from something unrelated.

Glad Cami is doing well!

Hugs!

Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too!

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

I'm glad things went well!

Yes, Jill the cat had carboplatin. Her blog is here:
http://jillsjou.....pawds.com/

From what I recall, Jill's oncologist felt that there wasn't enough data to show the carboplatin would help (after all, it's not "supposed" to met in cats), but if her mom wanted peace of mind then it was a good idea to proceed. She did. If you want to chat with her Mom, Erica, just Private Message her through the Forums.

Hi Cami & Rocky ❤️🐱

SO glad to hear surgery went well 👍🏼👏🏽👏🏽

How is Rocky doing ?

Did you decide on chemo ?

Eurydice has carboplatin too but I wouldn't know anything about using it with a cat ...

Sending you lots of hugs and cuddles to your cutie kitty 😘😘💞💕🐱

Eurydice 77kg/170lb Great Dane limping end of April 2016, amputation (right front leg/osteosarcoma) 4 May 2016 6 courses of carboplatin followed by metronomic therapy, lung mets found 30 Nov 2016. 3 courses of doxorubicin, PET scan 26 Jan 2017 showed more mets so stopped chemo. Holistic route April 2017. Lung X-ray 5 May 2017 showed several tennis ball size mets, started cortisone and diuretics. Miss Cow earned her XXL silver wings 12 June 2017, 13 months and 1 week after amputation and 6 1/2 months after lung mets, she was the goofiest dawg ever and is now happily flying from cloud to cloud woof woofing away :-)
