Awesome!  Jackson did really well with carbo.  No side effects.  May it be as smooth sailing for your girl!  Keep it up!

ACL tear in right hind leg 12/5/12 and scheduled ACL repair surgery 12/21/12. Pre-op xrays revealed osteosarcoma. Amputation 12/28/12.  Chemo (carboplatin) started Jan 10, 2013 and ended on April 5, for a total of 5 doses. He handled carbo like a champ!  No side effects.  We started metronomic therapy at his third chemo and have been also doing some holistic treatments.  He's a lively, playful 10 year old huskie-boarder collie and a very proud member of the Winter Warriors!  Our love. Three weeks and a day post-amp and all is well. We went in for blood work today to check on her white blood cell count a week after her first chemo and it looks good as well. It's funny... there were a lot of dogs in the waiting room and I know that a couple were sick, but despite all of the other owners' reactions ("Oh my God! Poor thing!), Norah was definitely the happiest dog in the room. She didn't care that she had one less limb than the other dogs. She walked around, wagging her tail and saying hi to everyone. She even chased her tail for one of the techs!

Norah is an 8 year old Alaskan Husky. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right hind leg on 3/26/12. She had her amputation on 4/1/13. Chemotherapy (Carboplatin) started on 4/16/13 and she has completed three rounds.

Quick update...Norah is getting round 3 of Carboplatin as I write this. Her lungs are clear and blood count looks good! I'm really excited that she is doing so well. It must be her super dog cape (a pink Tripawds.com bandana).

Norah you are rocking it to the top!!!! So glad to hear you are handling everything so well and are showing all those "normal" dogs just what a tripawd can do!!
