Thanks everyone for all the PAWSITIVE thoughts sent our way!! It worked!
Daisy is now hopping around in her wheelchair . Yeah!!
Daisy was one of the small percentage of amputees that wouldn't or couldn't adapt well post surgery. Even with physical therapy and lots of love after 4+ months she can just manage to roll herself over, "scooch" along the ground but just can't get up and get around like a "normal" tripawd. Nothing medical that the vets can identify, not over weight (probably just old age)....but anyway.......we ordered a Eddies wheelchair last month. This chair has 2 rear leg holes and when we first put Daisy in it we found that her left hip (where her left leg was) was falling into the left leg hole void. We built up the space with pieces of memory foam but it still needed a little more cushion to fill in the void between her body and the platform we built. I was wandering around Walmart to pick up a pair of stockings to keep all the foam in place and there they were......... Silicone boobs in a box! Who knew! Well these B cups were just what we needed. Only $16 for the pair. After a few days of adjustments in placement we secured everything together and attached it to the chair, put Daisy in and I swear I saw the light bulb flicker above her head- it brought tears to my eyes when I watched her hop around exploring the yard. She is getting stronger everyday and has learned to do a K turn in the hallway. Still hasnt yet figured out that she has to swing wide to get around a corner and also has been running over roommate Samson with the wheels but we think that is on purpose
So we would like to thank the Tripawd community for their support and encouragement.
Sending you all love from the frozen north (it was 10 degrees this morning)

That makes me very happy, watching her in her chair. She looks like she is getting the hang of it really well! Who knew about the wallmart breast enhancers... thats funny! I would have to come up with some joke of some kind about buying my girl dog a pair of sillicone b cups. It isn't spendy for dogs at all... lol~
