LOL! That might not mean much to some, but bless his heart, he's had some trouble trying to squat with only one back leg...and I'm going through wipes like crazy! (And, oh, does he hate the wipes!)
So, a poop without stepping, falling, or sitting in it...
time to celebrate! Little things count. 😉
Hugs to all!
Jo & Mikey
Mikey, 2/14/16, came to us as a foster the end of June, 2wks after rear left amp. Now, at 6mo, he's doing awesome! Perfect, except for wanting to play with 9yo kitty Pumpkin, who isn't interested. At all.
Love to all! Jo, Mikey and, reluctantly, Pumpkin.
Yupiiiiii, Mickey has pooped
What do you mean it's not much ?????
It is a HUGE moment that all of us dreaded until it happened !!!!
I, for one, pestered the surgeon for days asking how on heart would my girl be able to do it on 3
Congratulations, Mickey has passed one of the first milestones
Glasses raised all around and lots of kisses and a special ear scratch to your boy

Yeah Mikey!
(I, too, was waiting for an occasion to use the icon ) Sometimes it's just the little things!
Now there's no stopping him!

Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too!
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Thank you, all, so much! What a warm & loving group you are!
& I appreciate so much the understanding of how big a deal this was for us.
Sometimes I want to cry, thinking what he went through as soon as he was taken from his mother. But then I try to focus on making this the best NOW that I can. And now he knows he's safe and protected. And I'm pretty sure he knows he's loved greatly. ❤️
And he didn't step in the 💩! 😄

There you are, just keep doing what you are doing
Live every day to the full and spoil your boy to bits
Recovery doesn't last for ever either so you should see big improvements from the moment his stitches are out.
Mickey will surprise you sooner than you think!
Sending you a big hug and cuddles to your baby boy

Will do.
His surgery was about two months ago, so he's already come so far, he's like a different dog. Improvement emotionally maybe even more than physically. <smile with tears> he's such a good boy.
