Soooo glad to hear h ow well Meeka is doing! Way to rock that recovery sweet girl!! And it still gets better and better!!
No, you are not reasy tomlose her and she's not foing anywhere anytime soon...except on your lap, your sofa, on yiur bed and for some wonderful walks sharing time with you by her side!!
The report chsnges NOTHING in Meeka's world! She doesn't give a rip aboyt statistics or any ole' diagnosis! Meeka does NOT have a timeframe stamped anywhere on her cute Mastiff butt!
One of the most important life lessons on this journey, and there are many, is to live in the moment, stay in the present! To worry about the tomorrows robs you of your time together! Don't let that piece of crap disease get away with robbing you of being in the present with Meeka! Meeka sure isn't! She's getting on with living every day to the fullest and soaking up all the loving and spoiling she can every single day! And I jave a feeling it's a lot!!
Looking forward to more updates. And bgw, vent all you want! We do it all the time! Usually it makes us feel better once we have a good "vent pawty"!
Hugs to all!
Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too!
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
All I can say is "wow" to all the support I've received here. So yes, its time to move forward, I'm going to spoil her even more (if its possible) and this weekend we'll head out to the town forest that she loves so much for a short walk, then a good nap together!
I will continue to update, and I have a great video showing how well she's getting around, and once I read the instructions on posting I'll try to get it up....
Thanks again all!!!!!!!
I'm in the chat right now if you want help posting a video. We'd love to see it! Where is your video hosted? For example, on YouTube? Photobucket? etc.?
