Hi everyone,
Tabitha is 3 weeks post op today (rear leg amputation). She is doing good - going down stairs perfectly, starting to get the hang of going up (we still help her but she's doing more on her own). She's started to play with her squeaky toys too 🙂
It's supposed to be beautiful here this weekend and we would love to take her for a very short outing to her favorite park (for a short sniff and walk)... she's a little bored (showing her typical "I'm bored" behaviors) PLUS we don't want her thinking that the car will mean the vet (in the past the car has usually meant the park to her).
Is it too soon?
Thanks,
JoAnn, Bill and Tabitha the Grey
I don't think it's too soon!
Sounds like she is doing very well and a trip to the park would be really good for her.
You know the activity level she is at now so don't let her do too much more. Ramp up slowly but getting her back closer to her normal routine will only be good for her!
And of course pictures and videos would be wonderful.
