The way I highlight is that I start a reply and then copy the line(s) that I want to quote and paste them in my reply where I want it.  Be sure to type a line or two after the text you want to show as a quote otherwise everything you type will show as quoted.

We were told not too long ago, when I asked about what I should be doing for him, to gain that necessary strength, that because we don’t know how much time we have with Stewie, that we shouldn’t worry too much about it!

It might be one reality, but it is not a certainty!  One of the things I wanted to do with TriPug Maggie before her amp was to do some type of therapy work.  After her amp her prognosis was 6 to 9 months so I gave up on that idea.  Maggie beat her prognosis and lived almost 4 years, I always wish I had followed through.

Besides- you want Stewie to have the best quality of life, and for Tripawds that includes core strength.

Tri-pug Maggie survived a 4.5 year mast cell cancer battle only to be lost to oral melanoma.

I’m saying... Thank you! I have tried a couple of times again just to highlight and copy.. sometimes it will let me do it and most times not. I think it’s just me, cause I’ve messed up a couple of times today. Now I just need to figure out how to reply outside the box....

I’m saying...  Your quite right that time with Stewie is not a certainty! I don’t want to regret what I didn’t do for Stew!

I have done the quote thing both ways. Are you on a computer or your phone I guess that would be my question. If on the computer you can hit the quote this reply its dimmed on the screen shot.      [Image Can Not Be Found]

& it will quote the entire reply like Sally said & you can just erase everything but what your trying to quote.

Or you can do like Karen does just copy a portion & paste it ,then select it and hit the back Quote - should select that part, which looks like the way you tried last?

We were told not too long ago, when I asked about what I should be doing for him, to gain that necessary strength, that because we don’t know how much time we have with Stewie, that we shouldn’t worry...

That way is harder to get out of the grey matter for me too?winker I hit return 2 times and that gets you out of the grey matter laughing Your a riot OMC 😂🤣

I agree you never know on Stewie and I think helping him in anyway you can is great! None of us have the money tree in the back yard don't be embarrassed OMC ! We go without to take the guys for acupuncture and Chiro & its not easy & its not cheap!

Purrkins only had to have the Chiro 3 x in one year. What Stewie would need? Acupuncture would be more often at first. Then they space those out. At least with us thats how that worked. We go every 3 months now what he calls tune ups!

Call and see what she will charge & if it's doable it may be & it may not be . There are things you can do at home too. We do the best we can with the resources we have & thats all we can do! If there was a place for the Rehab Tripawds would pay for part of it too!

This journey is not cheap by any means OMC and we didn't do chemo🤑! Never feel embarrassed about funds we are all in a similar boatugh

Give the quote another try and will see if we can't get you quoting 🐾 & out of the grey matter😉

I just discovered the colors today SALLY. It's no wonder we don't know all the features we are in a race trying to help usually. Now we can be have more fun &  be colorful OMC !  winker I hope it's a feature on the tablet Sally🙏

Mine is a A underline with a rainbow of colors😮😍

Are you on a tavlet?    I laid out the way I do "quotes" in the yellow box.  Copy to clipboard doesn't put it in the yellow box on a tavlet.  It just reprodces it but without the distinction of the yellow box.  I jave done it thst way sometimes and just go back and put "quotes" around it myself and say, ie,  Petra said:

1.  Soooo...when you put the whole ppst you wan to "quote" in the reply space it will be in a very light grey box.  Go ahead and delte, or erase, everything EXCEPT the lines you want to leave in to quote

2.  Then, get out of the box and start your reply in another section out of the box in the space that is not grey.

And  you are making everyday with Stewie the best day ever!  You, of all people, will NEVER have any regrets about  giving that boy the  best quality moments ppssible every second of everyday!way-coolway-cool

Hey Petra, I'm just now catching up. Thanks to everyone for providing the tech support!

First, regarding

We were told not too long ago, when I asked about what I should be doing for him, to gain that necessary strength, that because we don’t know how much time we have with Stewie, that we shouldn’t worry too much about it!

OMD that is nuts! Honestly, that's like saying none of us should exercise or eat healthy because technically we could all die tomorrow. It's fatalistic, crazy talk. Now, I know there are quite a few practitioners out there who think this way, but I'm going to bet they haven't seen nearly as many long-term osteosarcoma survivors as we have here at Tripawds. We were told similar things by our own vet when Jerry was diagnosed. Well, that boy lived TWO YEARS as you know. We wish we had known these things when vets said that to us. Now we know. Now it's our mission to make sure others do too. Ok, off my soap box . . . .

Yes, acupuncture can be GREAT for Tripawds. Thanks for that link Holly!

Even if you can't get to a rehab therapist, if you can at least do that, you can help him tremendously. Also, have you seen our exercise tips in Loving Life On Three Legs ? Or in the Tripawds Gear blog ? We have lots of ideas for folks who can't get to a rehab therapist. There is a lot you can do on your own, provided that  you're careful and get your vet's OK.

Oh by the way, standing up in the car IS exhausting work. It's the equivalent of us standing on a bosu ball all day long, working our core muscles. No wonder he's pooped.

Hi Sally, yes I work off of my iPad. I know I’m missing some of the proper computer functions, but I think for the most part most options are available, I just need to find them! I like you’re ingenuity! Almost as Todd as Ravens Dad with the duct tape!🤓

And no, I hope not to have any regrets, he certainly isn’t complaining! Life is all about him right now, much to Mr. Spikey’s chagrin! 😼

Thanks so much for your input ladies, it really does help! it sure takes a little longer to get a simple message out there doesn’t it?!

Wait until admin pops in OMC😁 Petra your did it Way to go clapclap& YES its not a speedy way but look how pretty it looks😀

You will never have any regrets with Stewie! I just know that in every fiber of my being & for who you are & where you have gotten him already !

Make every day Stewie day  & the feline pack day love them all ! Like Rene said we all have a timestamp on our rear! When is anyone's guess. The one thing with Cancer is we think we have a idea well in a lot of cases that's not true & they blow those statics out of the water as you know & have read!

So 🖕🏻cancer ! We are not letting it win or rob us of our time with our animals! Keep doing what your doing & we are always rooting for Stewie to beat the stupid numbers! We need to remember for eveyone in our life humans and animals everyday is a 🎁 to get up and breathe each day is a gift for all of us! Cancer or no cancer!  Love & Love more if thats possible! I have found that it is possible !

lets see if we helped Sally with her sizing , Now Petra maybe you can help with the iPad;) Mark uses the iPad I do not so I can only help with the computer & I don't do so good on the phone, I prefer the computer;)

You have something I don't? Does it stay the same if you do one line in 11 pt and go down a few lines at a different number size font? Hit enter or return a few spaces?  Try a differet size font? Did you try paragraph and switching headings that way? That what I did I don't have the font size option . Weird we all have different options.

Where it says paragraph switch that to heading etc see what happens that way?

You’re absolutely right! I need to keep thinking long term and not the “possible” short term! Our local vets have only seen two cases of Osteosarcoma in their careers. Dr. Bill did say it with the kindest of intentions, but you’re absolutely correct. Thanks to all of you for you’re  caring support.

We do try to limit the amount of road trips he has to make with us, as I do realize this is really hard on our boy. Typically we will have our friend look after him.

Thanks as well for the links... I will be checking them all later.

Petra, I wouldn't think there's a need to limit those road trips, it is good exercise for him and he's having fun too. I'm sure it also feeds his soul and that's SO important for fighting cancer. I'd say that after his trips, try to let him have extra R&R at home so he's ready for the next one.
