Hello everyone!
My Lily is a brand tripawd (3days in) and I am looking to order a floatcoat and ruffwear harness asap so that when she's recovered we wont miss a beat and continue where we left off of our adventures in our new state of residence! However she is NO condition for me to measure her girth is there anyway to get a rough estimate of what size she is by looking at her? and also by me noting that she is about 70lbs? Ive attached a couple of pics for additional info and to share how much fun we had that day!
Harley was around 85lbs, and he was a Rottweiler, so a bigger chest … a front leg tripawd, who had his leg/shoulder removed … anyway, he wore a medium RuffWear Harness.
Toby, our Basenji, who is under 30lbs, can also sort-of fit into Harley's medium RuffWear Harness … I can adjust the straps so it is tight enough to fit his chest, but the harness is too long for his body.
Anyway, my point is, there is quite a bit of adjustment room with the straps. But, of course, it's best to somehow measure, if you can work it. I'm not sure what their return policy is, if you would need to exchange/return it … maybe order in a couple sizes and keep the one that fits best, if you can't manage to measure???
Also, best of luck to you on your new Tripawd-Adventure!!
Amputation on 11/10/09, due to Histiocytic Sarcoma in left elbow. Angel Harley earned his wings on 06/24/10.
Denali is 80lbs and was in between a large and a medium. I went with a large because my other dog will fit the large and not the medium and figured it could be a little multi-purpose as Loki is not the most confident jumper to get in a vehicle.

Oh what a beautiful day indeed.
I'm guessing she is probably a medium. Usually only the largest dogs need a large. Most Shepherd and Lab types are mediums. Hope that helps, and thank you sooo much for ordering with us!

Great advice! The return policy is that as long as they haven't been worn for more than a sec to try them on, and aren't full of dog hair, they can be returned for a refund less original shipping price. Any evidence of extended wear may result in additional restocking fees.
