Ruff Wear Harness Shipping Question

HI,

My 7 yr Border Collie will be having a left front leg removed due to cancer.  He's big for a Border & knows how to use his spring like body very easily.  We have always walked, hiked with him wearing a generic harness, just something to gain control over his whole body rather than chocking him.

Anway, I have the Ruff Wear MasterHarness & it seems to provide just what I'm looking for.  I have searched for others like it, ones that would be beneficial to three legged dogs.  I can't seem to locate any others.  The reason I bring it up is because the one shown here on this site is around $50 but the shipping/handling is over $50.  It just doesn't seem to make sense.

Thanks, any input is appreciated

Chuey

Hi Chuey, we replied to your question via email but I guess you haven't seen it yet.

Are you asking about the extra cost for two-day / overnight shipping?

The Harness price is $52.95 including Ground Shipping.

If you are asking about the two-day and overnight fees, the extra S&H cost only applies if someone wants the harness rushed. We over-estimate shipping fees to ensure that our costs are covered. If rush shipping fees come in lower (they almost always do) we credit the customer the difference.

Otherwise, the regular $52.95 list price includes ground shipping to the continental US and the harness itself.

Hope this answers your question, feel free to call or write if you need further clarification or help.  Our phone # is in the email we sent to you.

Thanks for joining, we look forward to following along with your Tripawd adventures!

Thanks for your reply. So what you are saying is that the shipping/handling will not be that high?

Correct. Ground shipping to any of the lower 48 states is included in the purchase price of $52.95. The additional shipping fees you mention are only for expedited delivery. Ruff wear drop-ships all their products and these are their fees, not ours.

You do not need to add the "Upgrade Shipping" fee to your shopping cart unless you want to pay for rush delivery.

We hope this is clear, thank you for asking.
