So I thought I would share with everyone Roxy's first swim lessons.  She did so well!!!  I apologize for the first one being so long...I decided later on in the appointment to do shorter video's instead :)

Enjoy!!!

How fun!

How long does each lesson last?

It was so fun...each session is a half hour long.  The name of the place is Pawsitively Pooched in Calgary, AB...it's a great place smiley

Move over Ryan Lochte there's anew Olympian in town! I have to say though, ever time she headed for the side of the pool I was cheerin for her quick escape!! She really was having fun though and I loved how Michael (so? ) was encouraging her own....so sweet! It was one of those "warm-fuzzy" videos. Thanks

Sending Ms. Roxy our love, Sally and Happy Hannah

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

Love..Love..Love the videos.  Roxy looked like she was having so much fun after the initial shock of getting into the pool wore off.  After a few minutes she was swimming like a pro.  I loved watching Myka cheering Roxy on, that was very sweet.  There was one point in the video that looked like Roxy was swimming over to Myka to give him a kiss.  Thanks for sharing the videos, they put a smile on my face.

That was really interesting. I hope you update us and her lessons continue. I want to do something like that for Cora at somepoint.

Thanks everyone.  It was so interesting to watch her as she progressed...it took about 10 mins and then it was like a switch turned on and she relaxed and seem to really enjoy it.

It was important for Micah (my grandson) to come because he and Roxy are best buds!!!  Micah and his mom live with us so he and Roxy have grown up together for the last year...he actually chose her name.   She is so tolerant of his craziness winker

We are going for another session next Monday so I will definitely take some more video...it will either be this visit or the next where they will try without the life jacket smiley
