Hi

My dog Valkyrja lost her back leg 10 days ago and i was thinking becouse it‘s getting colder out site now. How is it with your dogs in the winter, do they get some kind of pain in the scar becouse of the cold ?

We do live in Iceland and it‘s starting to get colder out site, she dose go with us in the mountains with the other dogs and in the horse staples so i thought it would maybe be a good ide to order therapeutic blanket/coat or what do you think ?

Best regards, Anna

Great question. I'll bet it gets really cold there!

A sweater couldn't hurt especially if her fur hasn't grown in. Once it has, the cold shouldn't affect her any more than usual. At least that's been our experience.

Thank you ! I was thinking about this becouse i do get a lot of pain in my scar and where i broke a bone few years ago so i thought it could be the same for the animals, it's sad that they can not tell us when it hurts and where ! I think i will order Back on track coat for her for the winter.
