Hello everyone. New to this blog. But curious. We have a handsome 12 year old American Diego/Chow mix that was born without his right limb. We were looking into prosthetics for our kiddo. Any suggestions or comments?

There must be residual limb left for a prosthetic to work. Please watch our video interviews about prosthetics and braces for much more information. The News Blog also has more articles about prosthetics. You can search these forums for more related topics or search all blogs here.
Most dogs do well on three, but if use is possible prrosthetics can work wonders, with lots of fitting, fine-tuning and rehab work. Consider downloading Loving Life On Three Legs for lots of professional tips to keep tripawds fit and strong so they can make the most of their three limbs and avoid injury.
Hope this helps! Please keep us posted.
