Our pup is a male and had his hind leg amputated. He’s 1 day post op and we don’t know how to use the sling to support him while he pees without him peeing on it……help?

Hi there! Welcome!

Yeah that can be tricky. Have you tried letting him urinate without a sling to see what happens?

I would just try to move the fabric forward a bit so he doesn't make a mess. You can also make a DIY grocery bag sling in about 30 seconds. That way you have more than one sling and you can rotate washings.

Hello and welcome.

What is your boy's name?  How big is he? Why the amputation?

Do you have a harness for him?  When my Pug boy had his knee surgeries I was able to use his harness to hold him up while he peed.
