I can't figure out how to put a picture in here! lol

Here are detailed instructions for adding photos to forum posts . If you don't already share photos online somewhere, you can start a free Tripawds blog any time and upload them there. Need further help? Post in the Tech Support forum and we'll be happy to help!

Thank you for this post, it definitely gives me hope.  This stuff is so confusing.  I made an apt with a holistic vet and I will see the oncologist too.  I will see what they both say.

It makes me feel a little better hearing that this is not out of the norm to get these types of results. They said that they were going to have another pathologist read his report as well but I don't know if that will change anything. How can they not know and then just say to pursue as if it's aggressive?  I don't feel like I have enough information to make an informed decision so like you said, I will just have to wait.  This waiting game is for the birds LOL.

Ralph is slowly becoming his normal self again, kissing the other dogs and getting back into his routine, I think that  he may have dropped in the pecking order for now.  I am not sure, I am still trying to figure it out with how they are all acting.  I keep thinking that no matter what, I know my dogs have been happy little babes and I know that my time is limited with any of them, human and dog alike.  So we just have to make each day count for anyone we love and care for, and strangers too. You just assume you have a lifetime together, or so many years at least and it is never enough time.

I've never been part of a discussion like this and it is really comforting knowing there are others going through this at the same time or have in the past. It's nice to hear that the vet Ralph went to isn't the only one giving these kind of results and not really knowing what to do next.  It sure is frustrating.

I hope that Ralph's story ends up like the one's you mentioned.  I will read into their blogs too!  Did they tell you what kind of osteo Hannah had?

I followed those instructions for pictures but I must admit, I'm struggling here and I am a software trainer LOL.  I will get it though!  I just need to play around with it. The link is asking for dimensions of the picture and I am sure I am missing something.  I will try again later. big-grinbig-grinbig-grin

I hope you are having a nice Sunday!

Oh, Ralph learned that he can kick the grass after he goes potty with his front feet instead of his back!  He did that for the first time yesterday too clapclap

What "link is asking for dimensions of the picture"?

There is no need to add any dimensions anywhere. Please provide a link to exactly what you are referring to here so we can update the instructions, if necessary.

1. Images must be hosted online and publicly viewable somewhere. (This is why we offer free Tripawds Blogs .)

2. Copy the image file location (URL). The filename must end in a valid image file format (jpg, gif, png, etc.)

3. Paste the image URL in your post, or paste it into the URL field using the Insert Media button.

That's it.

When I click on the picture icon to insert a picture Insert/Edit Image, I receive a pop up that asks me for three things:  A. The Source B. Image Description and C. Dimensions.

I understand what you are saying and that "that's it", I did follow what was said in the instructions but it is not working for me.  I am sure I am doing it wrong as I may be a bit overwhelmed in my head ATM.  It's not a big deal, I do not need to post a picture, Sally had just said to post one and I was trying to.  I don't need to.  Thank you for trying to help.

Weighing in a little late, but just wanted to say that I've had a multiple-pet household for pretty much my whole life. They all work it out together. I just added a third (small) dog to our fur family of 5 (three cats and two dogs) and I was worried that Charlie, the "pack leader" would have issues with the new dog. Well, the new dog took over and is the BOSS, and Charlie is perfectly fine with it. Charlie weighs 90 pounds, and Petey, the new dog, weighs 18!! I just let them work it out themselves. They will find their place(s) in the family organically. Just a hunch that if Ralph was the boss with four legs, he'll probably still be the boss on three legs. Would be interested to know how it all works out after a few weeks time.

Kathy

Cooper (11/11/11 - 3/29/24) was a hound-collie mix "mutt" who was badly injured as a puppy and lost his leg at 7 months of age.  We adopted him after the operation.  He' was wonderful companion and comforting presence in our family for 12 years. He lived a fabulous life on three legs and was an inspiration to all. We will never forget our Coopie-Doopie-Doo.
