Sketchie is a happy boy, moving well and pain free. He still tires easily but life is good. This video is kind of blurry but shows how well our boy is doing. BTW His stop/search in the middle of the video is because I feed our 3 resident crows cut up PB sandwiches every morning in that area of the yard and Sketchie is hoping to find some left over crumbs...Shelties are chow hounds!
Sketch's Mom, Trini
Look at that happy tail wag! Looking good Sketchie!
Donna, Glenn & Murphy
Murphy had his right front leg amputated due to histiocytic sarcoma at 7 years old. He survived 4 years, 2 months & 1 week, only to be taken by hemangiosarcoma at 11 1/2 years 6/12/17
Read about Murphy's Life on Three Legs
Once his hair grows back, you won't even know he's missing a leg! Way to go Sketchie!
Paula and Nitro
Nitro 11 1/2 yr old Doberman; right front amp June 2014. Had 6 doses carboplatin, followed by metronomic therapy. Rocked it on 3 legs for over 3 years! My Warrior beat cancer, but couldn't beat old age. He crossed the Bridge peacefully on July 25, 2017, with dignity and on his terms. Follow his blog entitled "Doberman's journey"

Ohhhh yeah....this is how tripawds master the art of recover and gettin' on with life!!! GRRRRREAT JOB SKETCH!!!
Good description Linda...Sketch moves fluidly and with grace....very true! And he's a very, very handsome boy too!
I LOVE that you feed the Crows PB snacks! They are such delightfully fun, and smart, birds! I also love that Sketchie finds the remaining crumbs. I feed all sorts of nature's critters too. Feedi g them feeds my Soul!
And yes, he clearly is a happy boy! And that's just splendid!
Thanks for sharing this joyful moment. We love having reasons to smile around here!.
Peanut butter and jelly snacks for everyone!
Hugs!
Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle too!
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Thanks so much everyone for your kind words. Sketch has often been my strength through out all this. On days when it suddenly hits hard that I will never again see my blue boy with a whole body racing like the wind for hours in our back meadows, and tears fall, Sketch is instantly by my side with tail wagging and eyes filled with love, telling me "It is OK, Mom, I am happy".
Sally, great to find another crow lover! We are blessed to live in the country on 6 acres with 140 acres of woods/wetlands on our back border and I love all the wild life we share our land with. Crows are super intelligent...they often amaze me. And I am sure our local grocery store is delighted with the huge amount of PB I buy every month!!!
