Hey all!
Back from a weekend of trialing with Maggie in APDT Rally obedience in Saco, Maine. She earned her RL3(rally level 3 title) and her RLVX2(rally level veterans excellent II title). She also received the Inspiration Award!! You can read the full story on her blog but here's a youtube video of her doing her first level 3 run...SOoooooooooooooooooo darn proud of her!
Very proud Mama, Tracy

Inspiration Award for sure! Way to go Maggie!

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!
Maggie, you need a movie made about your life because you are just so incredible! I love how you make eye contact with your Mom, it's beautiful to watch. Congratulations kiddo!

Wow, incredible Maggie! I started to watch the video and I didn't even notice she was "tripawd." Somehow I reached this site while searching for information about end of life care for my husband's 94 y o grandmother. Talk about Divine or should I say "canine" intervention, My husband and I had a "Tripawd" that lived a full and happy life to the age of 16. He was only a puppy when he was hit by a car and had to have his front left leg amputated. Boy, could I tell you some stories about "Three-legged jack from Hackensack." I don't want to hijack this thread, I just wanted to say Thank you Maggie and Tripawds Blogs for a little inspiration. Hop on my three legged friends, hop on.Â

A friend of mine just sent me another video of Maggie 🙂 In this one, you'll see her balk a bit from the shadows on the floor...eyesight changing on her now....she did some balking in other parts of that building too...not just in the ring:

I'm VERY happy to have these videos of her as most likely, this is her last year competing in Rally-O as she really doesn't like the sitting part of it all and she's going on 12 years old in January...
