Hi
I've been AWOL from the forum for awhile. I got bounced out somehow and couldn't seem to log back in for quite some time. But it seems to be okay now.
Brandy is going on four months now with three legs and I barely even notice now. I haven't been able to afford swim therapy, but she has gotten so strong that she can go for longer walks with the other dogs, and she's happy and plays. Sometimes one long walk is enough for her and she always lets me know if she wants to go or needs to rest up. I have no regrets at all and am so happy now that there were supportive people out there to encourage me to give it all a chance.
I was sent his video and perhaps some of you have seen it before, but I just had to share -in case you haven't. It made me both bring out the Kleenex and cheer.

We're glad to hear Brandy is doing so well. Thanks for the update! That's some crazy bear.

Angel Jake's Mom
Jake, 10yr old golden retriever (fractured his front right leg on 9/1, bone biopsy revealed osteosarcoma on 9/10, amputation on 9/17) and his family Marguerite, Jacques and Wolfie, 5yr old german shepherd and the newest addition to the family, Nala, a 7mth old Bengal mix kittie. Jake lost his battle on 11/9/2009, almost 8 weeks after his surgery. We will never forget our sweet golden angel… http://jakesjou.....ipawds.com ….. CANCER SUCKS!
Thanks for posting the bear video. Someone sent it to me, and I thought I'd probably post it here but I couldn't read it on my Mac. Pretty talented on two legs, that bear! I wonder if the cub will start to imitate Mum and spend more time on two legs.
Glad to hear Brandy is doing so well.
Hoppy Ampuversary, Brandy! I'm glad you're feeling so well.
Amazing bear video!
