Hey all!
My husband and I adopted a tripawd nearly three years ago and he's the love of our life. You can actually see pictures and get his story here: http://tripawds.....ife-now/Â
Jackson is a wicked smart Corgi/Lab mix. He's a low rider and despite missing one of his front legs, he's almost too good at getting around 😉 Our problem is that we work during the day and while our boy has free roam of the house, I'm concerned that he doesn't have enough to keep his brain entertained. Normally I'd get a bunch of puzzle treat toys but because of the front paw situation, I've noticed he has a hard time playing with those. He also has similar issues with bones, holding kong toys, etc.
My question is, does anyone have any recommendations for how to keep him busy during the day? Maybe there are tripawd specific toys out there I don't know about it or if any one has a simple DIY hack for some of these toys, I'd be down to give it a shot. Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Have you thought about another doggy companion for Jackson? And it's okay to get one with four legs.

Aw, thank you! He's a very good boy and yes, he does have a companion pup. Her name is Betty Poop, she's a petite pit bull/boxer mix and she's a big dumb baby seal 🙂 They love each other a lot.
In terms of tripawd toys, we just ordered the Quado bone off of Amazon which seems like a great solution for a dog that can't hold a bone with his front paws (because he's missing one.) It arrives on Saturday so I'll make sure to update and let you know how it works!
