All of you were right- getting a stroller was exactly what we needed to do. I've spent the last 8 months walking out a block and back and we're both so bored of that routine. It's been lovely for taking her to the park and around the city when we're running errands.
It's also been difficult to find activities to entertain her that don't involve a lot of movement or food. Long rides are perfect. She gets to sniff and see new things, and doesn't get sore. I feel like we've given her back some of the mobility she's lost recently, just in a different form.
For those of you who might be curious, Jack's just over 30 pounds and we first bought the Pet Gear Jogger, which says it's designed for dogs up to 70 pounds. It was a beautiful stroller but way too small, so we exchanged it for this one, the Expedition (thanks to the positive reviews by others here). It's great-I'd highly recommend it to anyone else looking for a stroller for a medium or large dog.
I bought one too for Buddy. We start off walking and when he gets tired (I can always tell) - he hops in his go-cart!!! It's been so therapeutic for him to be able to do long walks with the other pups in the pack. This was the best $100 I spent. My friend just bought one too and got it on Amazon for $58. Same one! Glad it's working for you and I also highly recommend it.
Can't stop grinning!! Look at Jack go! BOTH of you are smiling!! This just makes my day!!!
Okay Buddy, we want pictures of you too!
Love!

Here's the adorable photos of Buddy's ride, from his blog:
We just love seeing more Tripawds getting out and about this way, it really is a great morale booster for the whole pack, isn't it?

I just LOVE this!!!! This is the one thing I wish I would have thought about for my Jake. We actually ended up with two strollers for Roscoe (one is still in the box and I can't bring myself to let go of it). I just love love love love seeing pups still being able to enjoy their walks. And the three in the back, boy do you have your hands full!

Love it!
Maggie took to her Charriot like she was entitled! I've been a dog stroller mom on and off since 2006, on again now since I adopted Elly.
It is really beneficial to get our Tripawds out with the pack and not overdue things. In our case now we are walking a little over two miles a day with Obie and that is to far for Elly (although I think she would do it if I let her).
I think Buddy's pack needs to harness (ha ha) all that dog power! Maybe they could tow the stroller with Buddy AND mom!

ELIZABETH! Rpscoe "don't need no stinkin' stroller" at rhe Bridge! He's running non stop and pain free all he wants! But most of the time he's being held by the Angels getting tummy rubs as he watches over you!

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
