Well we don't have much to report on this Valentine Friday ... hanging out at home with my best girl and I couldn't be happier. She's a bit tired from her chemo treatment earlier in the week BUT huge milestone that she is sleeping in her bed in my bedroom now... and during the day. So 5 weeks later, she has officially (I think) relinquished her hold on my bathroom! Fingers crossed.

Clearly she likes the food that I have cooked for her - she ate it all (except picked out some of the kibble but I blame that on her chemo treatment). I'm not worried (breakthrough for mommy here).

Look at her shoveling that yummy food in!

- getting dinner ready! She's ready and happy!

- dinner is served! Someone is over the camera in her face!

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

Hoppy Valentine's day to both of you!

Shelby tell your personal chef she's hired! We're ready to dine when she can come on over and make us some of that fab chow!
