Hoppy Ampuversary, Otis! Keep 'em coming. You definitely deserve a celebration. Maybe someone more savvy than I can post a link to Roxy's special celebration cake.
Kathi and the Turbotail April Angel...and the Labradork
Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!
UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!
Yeah! Hoppy Ampuversary Otis!Â

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
Tri-pug Maggie survived a 4.5 year mast cell cancer battle only to be lost to oral melanoma.

What gives?  Both Otis and Tess threw up their dinner last night.  Otis mostly lost water - he was gulping it down like he had never seen it before after he ate.  Tess lost everything, and still seems to have indigestion.  Otis got a Cerenia.  Both kept breakfast down. My ex-husband, who has been supplying boiled chicken breast for them, apparently fed them flame grilled chicken breast (he's a chef, hard for him to imagine boiled chicken breast as a good thing).  I am hoping that is what did it???  And of course panicked that something is wrong with Tess now.

Sounds like Chef Ex Hubby needs to take the cuisine down a notch! Well intended though!
Certainly.not a vet, but since they BOTH threw yp and BOTH had the same....er..."speciality, I think the chicken was the.culprit. And both ate fine this morning? Yeah, sounds like everything's okay
Keep us posted!

Did they eat too fast? That happened to Shelby and has happened to Jasper ... snarfing food might cause instant vomit.
If they are keeping breakfast down, I would think that is a good sign. However ... full disclaimer .. not a vet here! 🙂Â
