Hi All -

My rear amp, Chloe, is having TPLO surgery next month and her ortho surgeon (the same one that did her amputation) suggested getting a Help 'Em Up harness to really help support her back end. We normally use a Ruffwear Flagline harness (which I love).

I ordered the anti-rotation strap, but the problem I'm having now is the two straps that are supposed to go on either side of her tail. Since I only use one side of the back part of the harness, the strap that should be on the left side of her tail is now shifting to the middle, so she won't be able to pee with it on.

Any one else have this problem, and what did you do to solve it? Do I have the anti-rotation strap too tight?

Thanks!!

Hey Chloe & furmily, welcome. So sorry to hear about the TPLO surgery! Ugh! Be sure to check out our remaining leg surgery articles when you can.

Yeah, one reason we don't carry that particular harness is that it just doesn't work well on Tripawds. We found there's too much shifting even with that add-on piece. We like the Get-a-Grip / Custom Pet Support Suit instead. So I'm sorry, I can't help you in that department. I'd love to find out what others have done because I know people do try to use it.

Feedback anyone?
