Hello Everyone!

I am going to purchase a Ruffwear Webmaster harness .  I was told these are very good.

So my greyhound measures 32 inches around the rib cage.  That is exactly between a medium and Large/Xlarge.

Does anyone have any recommendations which size I should go with?

Thanks

Pam and Vaughn

Nitro had a L/XL...you can always adjust the straps to go smaller, but can't really go bigger if its too small

Nitro 11 1/2  yr old Doberman; right front amp June 2014. Had 6 doses carboplatin, followed by metronomic therapy. Rocked it on 3 legs for over 3 years! My Warrior beat cancer, but couldn't beat old age. He crossed the Bridge peacefully on July 25, 2017, with dignity and on his terms.  Follow his blog entitled "Doberman's journey"

Yep, we recommend the Ruffwear Webmaster harness for Tripawds missing a rear leg, and the Ruffwear Flagline harness for Tripawds missing a front leg. Both offer excellent support, the Webmaster is just a bit trickier to put on for front-leggers.

His size is exactly in the middle. For the Flagline harness choose the Large size. For the Webmaster harness , choose the Medium size. To double-check your measurement, take it from the widest part of his rib cage (Many people measure in the armpit area which isn't correct).

I use the ruffwear Front Range harness on my quad-pawd and the flsgline on my rear-amp tripawd. Both of these are extremely adjustable and I would go with the larger size. You also want the harness to sit correctly on your dog. Greyhounds have such a big chest and shoulder I'd be concerned the smaller size might sit too far forward and the middle strap could chafe the armpit area.

By measurement, Tempest should wear the front range in a small. She's a mixed breed but her body type resembles a whippet. The medium fits around her chest and sits properly on her body. The small does fit around her chest, but it sits too far forward. Loki is slightly larger than Tempest, but she doesn't have as deep of a chest. Her Flagline is a small and it fits her appropriately.

You could also order both sizes and return the one that doesn't fit as well.
