The airplane was 2 hours late then on the way home there were a car accident so we had to wait for almost 2 hours before we could pass ,so we were home so late,so thats why i didnt write when we got home.
I thought i would meet a scared nervous dog,but i met a wagging hopping dog that licked my hands not afraid at all.She is so beautiful and she really loves people.Meeting the dogs and cats here also went nice, she is so nice and just stood still and let dem sniff her,and she just looked at the cats.
She hopped up in the sofa and lied her head on my lap, like she always had lived here.
She loves dogs too,her tail is wagging and she get a puppy like expression in her face thats says *play with me*
She is extremely thin but that we can do something about, she is very hard and cracked under her feet, any tips for that?
We just love her, will write more and add some picture a little later =)
Welcome home Bonita! We are so hoppy you found your furever family, what a beautiful story! Can't wait to see photos of you and your pawrents.
Yes, you can always put some weight on. Our Wyatt Ray went from 67 pounds to 74 in less than two months after my Mom and Dad adopted him. Just make sure you don't gain weight too fast, your body will need time to adjust and learn how to carry around the extra weight with one less leg.
As for your feet, sounds like you were walking on snow a lot? There are lots of paw products you can try, anything that has Shea Butter is good. We like Musher's Secret, which is great on snow and hot asphalt. Sled dogs use it all the time, it conditions paws and protects them from the elements.
Enjoy getting to know eachother. You have some mighty fine pawrents there, we love stories like this!
