We have loads of coats and jammies to keep Fallon, a greyhound, cozy on chilly days/nights. Problem is, she is a recent front leg amputee, and we find it is difficult to keep them from twisting around her body, exposing her back, kind of sliding off...
I tried modifying a set of 2 legged jammies by removing one leg and stitching it shut, this still tends to slide to one side--but better than the alternative, which was her tripping over the empty leg sleeve. We were given a crocheted cape-type thing with no leg holes that ties around the waist, this also slides off to one side.
They are definitely better than none, and they bother me more than Fallon. Has anyone found a coat, jammie, or something to keep a dog warm that stays in one place? Or an idea to modify what we have, keeping in mind I am not a clever girl?

Fallon's left front leg was amputated due to osteosarcoma on 10/11/17.

Hey Fallon & peeps, welcome! We're glad you hopped over to the Forums. Your future posts won't need approval so post away!
We do love the Ruffwear jackets and sweater we sell in the Tripawds Gear Shop , like the Cloudchaser and the Climate Changer. They've been making these for years and they're still great products.
I know that Wyatt is a rear-leg Tripawd but back when we had Jerry with us, we were able to sew up the front leg enough so that the jacket didn't flop or twist on him.
Have you tried any Ruffwear apparel? They do a really good job with sizing. The only thing I"ve found is that it's hard to get a coat that goes to the very end of a dog's back to cover up the booty area.
