I haven't posted in a while, life's been busy!. Just wanted to pop in and let those of you who remember us that Clyde is still going strong. For those who don't know Clyde, he is a right front leg amputee due to osteosarcoma. He's not had any chemo, and was given about 6 months to live. Well, his amputation was on June 3 (or maybe 4) of 2016 and he's still going strong. No real issues; he gets tired a little more easily but I chalk that up to the fact that he's now about 11 years old. He still bounces around and loves doing his "rollies" on the lawn in my front yard. He is much loved by the neighborhood and has quite a fan club, so he often gets lots of snuggles from little kids and my elderly neighbors when he's out and about.

I don't let him overdo - he sometimes forgets he is missing a leg and tries to corner too fast, and will tumble a bit. So, he needs a little monitoring laughingHe still takes Rimadyl once a day, along with K-9 immunity . Other than that, he's just a happy boy loving his life. And I'm a very, very lucky dog mom. big-grin
