Hi Everyone! I haven't posted an update about Clyde for awhile, I think because it seemed like there were so many that lost their battle too early, and I felt a little survivor's guilt so to speak. But tomorrow is a special day, it's Clyde's seven month ampuversary! He's been doing so very well and has exceeded my expectations as to how far he'd go. He's a happy, bouncy tripawd who has charmed pretty much my whole neighborhood and everyone he meets with his goofy demeanor and complete disregard for his "disability."
Some of you may remember that I'm not doing chemo. So I'm really happy that we've had as long as we've had together, and I make sure that every day, we do at least "one fun thing" even if its like a five minute play session in the front yard off leash (because in his mind, that's the biggest deal ever, to be off leash in the front yard!)
I finally created a blog, but I'm going to try to attach a couple of pictures here. The Santa photo was taken at PetSmart at the beginning of December and the other one was taken yesterday.
You have noooo idea how HAPPY this makes us all!! Never, ever, ever hold back when we have reasons to celebrate!!!!
Being able to celebrate CLYDE, and all his victories and milestones, is CRUCIAL to the well being of anyone starting this journey! HOPE is THE best treatment we can share with each other!!!
Oh my goodness! Thank you soooo much for giving us the opportunity to celebrate CLYDE'S SEVEN MONTH AMPUVERSARY!!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂
I LOVE your commitment to making sure that at least one extra fun thing happens everyday, based o Clyde's definition of FUN!!!
These pictures are putting a huge smile on my face! Thank you so much for that and for thos GRRRRRREAT UPDATE!!! 🙂

Wowza Clyde! Happy 7 month ampuversary!! How could you NOT charm everyone with a face like that! Thanks for a positive update. Good news is ALWAYS welcome. And I love your idea to do one fun thing every day. I just gave Fionn (also a right fronter) a bath so I might have to do TWO fun things to make up;)

Oh my gosh, he's SO CUTE!! Getting so excited at being leashless in the front yard cracks me up. Would that I were as ready to be happy as a dog! 🙂 That's so great that you are focusing on making him happy. What a great ambassador Clyde is for tripawds and all dogs.
Hugs from Rachel and Una, Gloria, Cachito, Sugar and Spice!
Clyde, you sure are livin the life my friend, hoppy ampuversary! Off leash play in the FRONT yard? You lucky dawg! We're thrilled that things are good and you're enjoying each and every minute!
P.S. "Survivor's guilt" is totally normal but keep in mind that stories like Clyde's are always treasaured by new folks who are just starting their journey. Clyde = HOPE and we so love hearing this great news!

Totally agree! Survivors' stories are important to us all. The joy is very contagious and helps counter-balance all the negatives. So keep on posting!!!
Harmony became a Tripawd on 10/21/14 (MCT). She left us way too soon on 11/1/14.

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
Congrats on your 7 months Ampuversary Clyde. So thrilled for you! Never be afraid to share these wonderful milestones! Everyone of us need to hear about these. They give hope and validation for this journey. Even those of us who didn't get much extended time with our pups are so so happy when others can and do get that time. So keep sharing all these wonderful moments with us. We along with our Angels are here to share right along with you and beautiful Clyde! Looking good there my friend!
