Ok, I have gone through many of the reviews and looked at all the harness types and I feel the most appropriate and outright clear winner for both me and Roostar is the pet support suit, as reviewed by you guys.

I see the price and I can live with that but wondered if there was a UK supplier because that would save essential pounds.

It will likely save time too, which we dont have spare in terms of giving Roo back a quality of life.

I chose this harness for three reasons mainly. The harness is designed so as to provide a sling under the bulk of the body so would be more comfortable for Roo to wear.... plus it comes with the optional shoulder strap so I can use both my arm and core body strength combined to support his weight.... Roo at this time is basically mostly bipedal. His back legs are shot and he will need surgery to put the main one right and this harness will be suitable for now, for when he has surgery and for post op so theres no question about whether or not this is right. My question, to reiterate, is is there a supplier in the UK of is it a single USA outlet? I would like to know so I can get on with ordering his harness (and I hope they make them that small!)

I have been researching and pretty well answered my own question. I have emailed the suppliers to see if they can make and ship me a pet suit asap. I hope so because we need it!

I used to have a huge beach bag when Roo was small and he got tired.... Going through long grass was usually too much so he needed carrying but he was so small then and my back wasnt as destroyed as it is now and I will be blowed if I can even find that bag now. It has rained so pushing the buggy through the mud is a no go and I just dont have a bag big enough for him..... I wonder if an old rucksack worn on the front just to sit his bum in while my arms wrap his body in a hug to carry him would work?

I have 2 other dogs to exercise and this staying indoors business is giving us all cabin fever.

Fingers crossed they make a harness his size because we need it... cant afford it financially but the need for it in so many other ways just tells me to eat toast for a month and to hell with it... I could use losing a few pounds anyhow :o )

Oh good.......I'm glad you found a contact and I'm REALLY hoping they can help!

Thanks for passing on all the feedback about the various benefits of the one you've selected. It will help others in the future.

Yeah, I do a lot of spaghetti! The toast route is a nice alternative!

It's good to see your keeping a sense of humor during all this......bipedal!.......winker

Wish that darn camera would work.....that Roo sure is a cutie pie!!

Hang in there! You're one strong lady!

Hugs to the pack!

Jerry you took the words out of my mouth! I fell asleep earlier but they got back to me via email and I can tell you I have breathed a big happy sigh of relief and gone ahead and paid for the body suit to be custom made for my little man. I did send a couple of emails because on the place where you order they ask you to email them if you need shipping outside the UK, which I did, with his measurements and simply asking if they made the suit for dogs that size and next thing I know the reply says yes and heres the invoice. So I was well pleased and I replied and asked about male anatomy and elimination but after looking again at the pictures and watching the video review you did I just went ahead and paid the invoice.

I will write again and tell the makers that I made my purchase very much on the strength of the Tripawds video review which was absolutely marvellous and illustrates very clearly the effectiveness of the equipment. I was just telling my pals on facebook about the harness and I tried to find the video clip on your website and couldnt so I ended up having to google it, then click through about three tabs from the makers website to get past the get a grip to the body suit and your video so .... I didnt know I could order from here and I cant find the link. I looked at the review section and in the harness section and couldnt find it this time. I dont know why.

Anyways, I dont know if there would have been any price difference but that horse has bolted because the invoice has been paid but I promise you I will most definitely big up Tripawds and make it clear that apart from the pictures making me think that this was the best choice, the video was the clincher and it really was. A made to measure custom built bit of kit will always be superior to any other option of similar type. I ordered a blue one and cant wait to get it. As to my camera.... the screen is shattered, rather the picture image is but the spyhole function works but I cant see where I am going lol. I will get a camera in due course but right now I need a wheelchair because I cant push that blasted buggy through the forest with the mud being like glue. I feel like a weight has been lifted, no pun intended, having ordered the body suit harness because soon I will be free to get my lad out and about without him hurting himself more and putting that amazing smile back on his face.xx.

Its going to take forever to get here! It will be dispatched mid week next week but can take 5-7 days to reach the UK. I meant to say USA before, I read I made an error. The company ask that if you want shipping outside USA that you email them direct.

Jerry I did tell them that it was watching your clip that clinched the deal for me. HTHs.

I will do a video clip of Roo when his arrives though how I can do that with half my camera broken I dont know. I just dont have funds for all the things I need and I think probably if the body suit works out I will definitely need a second one because my Roo loves to get proper dirty. Its winter here so theres mud everywhere and pushing the chariot through glue like mud is funny like a cup of cold sick is hilarious. Its a nightmare. I will show you a clip.

The third pup is there, just out of shot. I cant see what I am filming without the screen so its a bit pot luck but its an insane task to push that chair through glue. The huffing and puffing is mostly pain and I was wearing my TENs machine in that clip, zapping me hard. I had to give two of them a full bath when I got home. By the time I can finally be admitted to hospital, it wont be rehab, it will be surgery!
