Has anyone ever used K-9 Immunity with MCT?  The mushrooms boost immunity but MCT comes from deranged immunity cells so I certainly don't want to encourage more immune cells to go rogue with a supplement designed to fight cancer!  My oncologist is ok with me using alternative treatments with traditional treatment  but she doesn't know much about them and won't give her opinion on their specific use.

Hi Kim,

I never had a chance to use K9 Immunity with Maggie, but I have used it for years with quad-pug Tani who has cutaneous MCTs.  I don't know if it helps with her tumors, but it certainly helped with her energy level.

Another thing I have used with Tani is a Chinese Herb called Blood's Palace.  I don't have the bottle here to give you the Chinese name.  We actually were using it to try and get her platelet counts down (a problem not related to her cancer) but their is some information that it is effective for cutaneous mast cell tumors.  It did seem to keep the tumors away for a while, but I have stopped using it because her platelet count is still high and I am focusing on some other health issues. I don't think there is any information that it helps non-cutaneous tumors, but you might want to read about it.

Tri-pug Maggie survived a 4.5 year mast cell cancer battle only to be lost to oral melanoma.
