I have read on a couple canine cancer websites, and they mention giving dogs Essiac tea to help build the immune system and fight off cancer cells. Has anyone ever used this? If so, did it help??

We didn't use it but others here have. Based on what I've read I'm not a big believer in it. But everyone is different so here are some search results that may give you some insight:

In this article, Dr. Dressler of the Dog Cancer Survival Guide says:

Essiac: Could It Cause What It’s Treating??

Now, at the risk of offending some, I feel that we should really look at the use of Essiac before charging into it. I have yet to see an “in vivo” study (in real life bodies, not in test tubes or petri dishes) that really show that Essiac does something real.

Okay, I will admit that not everything that works has an official clinical trial to back it up.  But what if there is a published study suggesting it may do harm?
