I have purchased these items and would like to get feedback on what others are doing... When I see the data..it is from 2010, 2015 etc.  I posted on the yahoo artemisinin group.. My holistic vet doesn't know about artemisinin so she isn't a source of info.. etc. Anyone having success with the items I've mentioned?

I have purchased artemisinin ( 100mg capusles,,) artemix ( 50,40,50) and butyrex ( 600mg capsules)

I read that artemisinin should be given 3-4 hours after dinner with cottage cheese, etc.
I also read that buytrex increases the effects of artemisinin
And that artemix is good to include for dogs with osteosarcoma.

If my dog only eats one meal at dinner,, does anyone ever give these meds in the morning, just once per day?,. etc?
Is cottage cheese the best item to give this with? other items to try in case its not eaten?
Dosing
I've read 5 days on/ days off,. as well as 11 days on, 3 days off then repeat..
any new data that shows what is the preferred schedule?

And at what dose?
I've read a dose of artemisinin at 200mg twice a day? anyone dosing once a day? how much? Simon weighs 100#.
the artemix is very expensive.. I was hoping to use one capsule a day? 50//40/50
Butyrex dose? 600 mg capsules ( I read that Jackies dog.. at 47# was using 2 butyrex .) Anyone having trouble with the odor of these capsules any tips?

As an aside.. anyone using Si Miao San? A vet mentioned it is helpful with osteo and less side effects than hoxsey.- which is often recommended

Hello, i am glad you are trying a Holistic approach. I use wormwood and butyrate. I give my dog 850mg of wormwood and one butyrate capsule with her dinner. I give it every night with no breaks. You should also look into a mushroom complex supplement, cats claw and fish oils and omega 3-6-9. I used Essiac formula in place of hoxsey. You might also want to add Melatonin. It has been shown to help fight cancer and it helps with sleep. I am a nurse, former vet tech and have a degree in biology. I have done extensive research to create abbys regimen. Here is the whole list of what i give my Abby. She is an 11 year old Golden, 65 pounds, with nasal Osteosarcoma and front limb amputation from a bone tumor that is most likely Osteosarcoma. I dont know if what im doing is working but when she got diagnosed with nasal Osteosarcoma they told me she had 6 months. That was 20 months ago. Her amputation was 7 months ago and she is doing great. You should also look into San Shedan syrup. It has been shown to delay and shrink lung mets. Where is your dogs cancer? Did a chest xray show any mets? Does he/she take pills willingly? I just toss abby’s pills in with her dry kibble and she eats them no problem. I get most of my supplements from Swanson Vitamins. Everything she takes probably costs me $300 a month.

thanks for the list of your supplements..  Simon has osteo in the LH distal femur.  CT done on 7/7/06/18 showed no lung mets.

I read the artemisinin is supposed to be given away from a meal?

Simon seems to be ok with pills capsules mixed in kibble as long as its appetizing..  ie mixed with turkey.. meat  etc.

My current regimen is armor up, turkey tail... dha. .
