Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
The best ever! You are so special Elizabeth. Thanks for sharing.
Luanne and Spirit Shooter
Spirit Shooter was a Miniature Australian Shepherd who was diagnosed with a MCT and had a LF amp 1/28/13 at 13-1/2 years old.
Shooter crossed the Bridge on 8/28/13, his 7 month ampuversary and two weeks from his 14th birthday.
I loved Hannah from the first time I saw a pic of her... but I had never seen Hannah's baby pictures... OMD, LOVE BABY HANNAH PUPPY BELLY! TOO CUTE. Beautiful tribute.
Adelaide is a young tripawd Husky, from an injury. Her amp was on 10/1/12. She has 4 sisters, Aissa (a senior border collie/chow), Maggie May (a puppy Great Pyrenees), Mathilde and Morrigan and 1 baby brother, Bagheera. We are all watched over by our angel Brendol, who was dx with OSA 1/30/13, amp on 2/6/13, and left us on 8/20/13.

Thank you again everyone. I feel like Happy Hannah and I just had a gathering of friends and family for a celebration of a life well-lived and so well-loved. Thank you for coming and bringingnyour love.
Needless to say, I've spoken with Elizabeth and, between gasping and sobbing, have tried to convey my gratitude. Couldn't even come close to trying to convey what this means to me. To have this TREASURE...this FOREVER TREASURE...and to have her get cheering applause...it is just magical.
Happy Hannah and I spent so much timeon the porch...she laying n the deck, big ole' paws hanging over...me sittng down below her a step or two so all I had to do was reachover and kiss her mug, or hold her paw when she reached over to "paw" me for a kiss or an scratch or a "I love you" She loved to do something to make me smile or laugh out loud...which was all the time...seriously, non-stop. And I took sooo many pictures from this position...she tolerated it but didn't like the picture taking.! But she always got treats so she didn't mind too much!
The picture of her wearing the "necklace...thag was the day I got the Be More Dog necklace from Rene. That has always been an important touchstne for me, so to have that picture n her tribute was so nice!
The one where she's smiling as I whisper in her ear "I love her" and "You are such a good girl"...she loved when I whispered n her ear!
To have she and Bodie, her best dog buddy, in a picture toegether where they are having a "conversation" with each other...PERFECT!
Oh gosh, and the ne withnthe penguin and that polar bear hat.....I laughed and laughed and she got M&Ms...a win/win for us both! A whole lotta' stories about that Penbuin...so yet another perfect choice for her tribute!
And having her Barney...she was so gentle with him and liked carryingnhim with her as she pranced around in front of the cats with it.
To have one with she and the "Jill Wanna Be"...yeah...that means a lot because we love our Jilly! They had great fun "playing" n the site! The two of them together provided a lot of fun moments.....and potty mouth videos!!
ZThe on pe where she and the grey cat are staring at each other.....that cat LOVED Happy Hannah...he really thinks he's a dog...he followed us everywhere we went...he would sit by her...lay by her...just loved her!! The cat jumped up on the window sill outside and watched over Happy Hannah as she made the transition and cried.
Oh goshz!! How Happy Hannah could fit her chunk of a fluffy body in "my" chair...okay..."her chair"...is beyond me! I have the most wonderful slobber stains and Bull Mastiff "dirty paws" stains all over that chair.....best feeling ever!!!
I love the one where sheis bathed in the rays of sunshine...it just shows she is light...she is love and light.
Hap Hannah and her food bowl memorialized forever!! Yes! She is ONE with her food bowl!! Her avatar picture sheis holding a food bowl...always prancing around with varius food bowls and alsways using her cuteness to get me to put somethingin it.
Elizabeth, thank you for letting me have a little "celebratory memorial tribute" with her friends and family. And, again, thank you all for coming and honoring my Hapoy Hannah!
From our hearts,
Sally and Happy Hannah
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Thank you Sally for sharing some stories and memories of Hannah with us to give us an even deeper insight to your life together and your forever bond ... you can really see it in her eyes, the love she has for you. And you for her. Beautiful!
I hope it was and is cathartic for you to write and share this with us. I find that telling stories helps me and heals me and warms my heart ... I can take the 'sick' stuff out of the equation and remember the GREAT life we had. Hannah had the most amazing life a dog could want ... outdoors, a porch, a mom that loved her to the moon and back (and gave her all sorts of bad stuff that doggies shouldn't eat but love to eat). What a life she led ... simply amazing ... I hope this video brings you lots of comfort in the months and years to come! How very much loved ... how special.
XOXO Love to you always!
Alison & her Shelby fur-ever in her heart!
PS - more stories please!!! I want to learn more about her life from puppy to teenager to adult! XO

Yu're a sweetheart Ms. Alison! Thankmyou. Yeah, I'll workon sharing some "happiness" stories from my girl! Yeah, the "sick stuff" really, realy is such a teeny weeny part to our stories and this gives us the opportunity to not give it any energy over the very large lives Shelby and Happy Hannah...and ALL our tripawd family...embraced during their time here!
Love to you! Look forward to more of Shelby's "history" too!

ACL tear in right hind leg 12/5/12 and scheduled ACL repair surgery 12/21/12. Pre-op xrays revealed osteosarcoma. Amputation 12/28/12. Chemo (carboplatin) started Jan 10, 2013 and ended on April 5, for a total of 5 doses. He handled carbo like a champ! No side effects. We started metronomic therapy at his third chemo and have been also doing some holistic treatments. He's a lively, playful 10 year old huskie-boarder collie and a very proud member of the Winter Warriors! Our love. Our funny little guy!
