Tripawds Forum fans who don't follow the blogs may have missed the latest update from Buddy the Rott. Buddy was diagnosed with osteosarcoma shortly after is pack mate Nikki had an amputation for the same. He's undergoing a treatment of radiation and bisphosphonates at Colorado State University, and is now having kidney issues.
We met up with Buddy and Niki at the Tripawds party in Colorado Springs a while back ... meet the pack:

Oh Buddy. We're going to miss you.
It's so weird that Admin Guy posted this at about the same time you left us. Were you whispering in his ear?
You'll always be a hero to us Buddy, rest in peace.

I’m so, so sorry. You gave him such wonderful life that he wouldn’t have had without you. It was too very short. I know for the both of you, he was a blessing.
I was hoping for a miracle on him – he had one coming. But maybe his miracle was being rescued by you and giving him a happy life for several months.
I’m so sorry.
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
I'm so sorry for your loss of Buddy. You did good by him in both his care and letting him go.
RIP Buddy.....

Maggie lost her battle with kidney disease on 8-24-13
We are sorry to hear about the loss of Buddy.
It sounds like you did everything possible to help him overcome this terrible disease; both of Rusty's Dr.'s are associated with CSU and spend time there lecturing and they say it is the best canine cancer facility in the nation.
Chuck & Rusty
Rusty is a Labradoodle who was diagnosed with level 3 Fibrosarcoma on January 16th, 2010 and had his left hind leg amputated on January 25th, 2010 five days before his 18 month birthday. Please see Rusty's blog @rusty.tripawds.com. He is putting up one heck of a fight against this terrible disease.
