PEZ is in heaven… As of 4:50pm this evening.
We spent the day with PEZ driving around with her in the SUV. She loved going for what we call "bye bye rides". Before PEZ became sick this was her most favorite thing in the world, hanging her head out the windows, walking around in the back of the SUV, seeing people at the stop lights, etc. We also took her to a landscaping nursery that's very popular in our area (homestead gardens) we frequent a lot during the season and they all know PEZ very well. We use to walk her around there throughout the years, get pumpkin pictures during Thanksgiving and Halloween and Santa/Christmas pictures during the Winter and Christmas with PEZ. Recently, the employees have seen her almost every weekend (all know her health condition) put her travel bed on a cart and wheel her around inside looking at all the lite Christmas trees, decorations, people would give her doggy treats and lots of love and affection… PEZ loved it!
We brought PEZ home this evening and took her up to our Master bedroom shower where we gave her a bath and cleaned her body (she soiled herself some when she passed). We will be taking PEZ tomorrow morning to the furneral home where they also provide private pet cremation services. Right now, we have PEZ laying on and wrapped up in her new doggy blanket we bought her for Christmas.
If anyone has any suggestions (on your favorite) of places on the web that we can purchase a nice urn we would greatly appreciate it.
This is the worst day of our lives… totally devastating.
We love you and will always miss you, our baby PEZZIE
I just so very, very sorry. It's just so sad about Pez.
I wished there were the right words to say during this most difficult time. We all understand your heartache but that doesn't provide much comfort. It's a hurt that just can't be taken away any time soon.
We are here for you, please know that.
My deepest condolences,
Comet's mom
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Tears are flowing here in Maine for you and your family in your loss of your sweet PEZ. Hugs to you all...
Tracy & Maggie
Maggie was amputated for soft tissue sarcoma 10-20-09
Maggie lost her battle with kidney disease on 8-24-13
We're so sorry to read about Pez. We're keeping you in our hearts at this difficult time.
Sending hugs,
Holly, Zuzu and Susan
Holly joined the world of tripawds on 12/29/2009. She has a big little sister, Zuzu, who idolizes Holly and tries to make all of her toys into tripawds in Holly's honor. And she's enjoying life one hop at a time!

I am so sorry to read about Pez. My heart goes out to you... I can only imagine how devastating this must be. Please take comfort in knowing that Pez is still right by your side and will always be forever in your heart. My deepest condolences.
Kami, Mackenzie & Kobe
My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2 although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!
Tears flow tonight in the Tripawds community.
Pez, your people are as strong, courageous and brave as you were. I know they will miss you tremendously, as will all of us.
Someday all of us will be reunited. Until then, your spirit will stay strong in our hearts.
With much love and deepest condolences....your friend Spirit Jerry

I'm sure there are no words that can lessen your pain right now, but know that there are tripawd families across the country thinking of you guys and sending healing wishes.
Zack, King of Dogs, 1996 to 2010
Zack lived a full 14 years, even to the end.
The joy and memories he provided us will last a lifetime.
Surviving him is his sister, Izzy, a 12-year-old boxer mix quadpawd.
And the latest addition, Zula, an 11-month-old pit bull mix tripawd.
Thank you all for your kind words. We still can't believe PEZ is gone... she was our life and it's going to be so hard not to have her around. Again, we greatly appreciate everything that the members here have provided in their experiences, suggestions, recommendations, thoughts and heart felt kind words. It is greatly appreciated... God bless you all.
