Hello,
As many of you know our Roxie was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. Her front leg amputation gave us 4 months with her before she was diagnosed with cancer in her back leg. For 1 month after that diagnosis and lots of medication to combat her pain she was no longer able to walk pain free. Sadly we were hoping she would have more time due to pain but didn't. We are heartsick.
Thank you for being with us through all this.
I saw this a couple of hours ago and was just so sad and upset ro read this. I wanted to ppst when I could get myself together a bit more. I'm not "together" and my tears are still flowing.
For now, I can only say we are all heartsick too. Roxie jumped intomour hearts from day one. And your love and devotion and bond......yeah, touched us all so deeply.
For that price of crap disease to attack again in such a relentless and brutal way is disgusting and brutal. I know from Roxie's point of view though, she was just grateful to have the extended pain free quaility time she did have with you. If we could only wrap ourselves up in the wisdom of our dogs during this time. But we are humans and we are gutted and raising our voices at the unfairness of it all.
I'm coming back, but just wanted to extend our love and our appreciation for getting to know your beautiful Roxie. Tough and gentle Roxie. We love her♥️

Oh no! I'm so sad to see this news, my heart aches for you. I'm so very, very sorry.
Cancer is so mean. It took her far too soon, and I can only imagine how heartbroken you are. If it's any comfort, know that you did everything humanly possible for her. And she knew how much she was loved right up until the end. You gave her extra pain-free time with the people she loved most, and when she needed you to help her out of the pain, you put your grief aside to make sure she didn't suffer. It's such an incredible gift, and one that let her know just how much she meant to you.
There will be a time when you think of her and smile instead of cry. For now, be good to yourself. You were on a journey with her that took so much emotional energy. Allow yourself to feel any grief and sorrow, and know that it just means how much you loved her.
If you want to share any photos, just message me and I'll get them up here for you OK? We'd love to see Roxie's life with you in picture.
Many, many condolences coming your way.

Thank you Virgnia and Jerry. I appreciate it. You have been with us through this whole journey. I am grateful.
Now we are loving Roxies sister Katy and all trying to get along.
It feels so surreal here as we lost our Roxie and our Chase in 2021,and there is a definite void.
Thank you!
You are so welcome. You have been through so much heartache, I'm really sorry. I hope you can take comfort knowing that the love you gave to Roxie and Chase was the dream life for a doggie. No pup could ask for more.
Give Katy extra kisses from us. If you want to share any photos of Roxie just let us know OK?

The break in routine, the caregiving that you so willingly gave now leaves a huge silent void. We know all too well how uour world jas stopped and how your tears seem like they'll never go away. I'm sure Katy is grieving too, but she has you and you jave her♥️
Even as that brutal disease came back, you were still able to jave some more food memories created to treasure. I remember how ahe perked up when some of her hooman family and friends visited her. You got more time for spoiling and got to be her "waitress" again. I rem I chuckled when she was recovering from her ampu and she had you as her waitress to serve her. Aich a sweet visual.
I can only imagine how good Roxie felt as she rean....ran on all four...straight to the glorious Rainbow Bridge. And Chase was the first to greet her and their reunion of joy was full of wagging tails and Happy barking. When things settled down and after Roxie enjoyed her "welcome ho e" feast, Chase and Roxie talked about how they had the best life evvvver with you. They know you are sad right now, but they'll soon connect with you to let uou know they are happy and they are watching over you and Katy too. Pay attention. She'll send you a sign.
And yes, when you can, p,ease share a pre avout yoir sweet Roxie. Her avatar picture melted our hearts with the first post. And we would love to hear more avout this fun gal.
