Oh my God, I never expected this. I saw the Topic and was hoping it wasn't you, some how. I am so so sorry! I don't even know what to say to comfort you. I will pray for her, and you.

I couldn't begin to say how special Sammy is to us. Living and laughing with and loving this wonderful boy is priceless.
Oh KaCee and Kurt,
My heart just aches and now the tears won't stop. I know how much Riley meant to you. She was such a wonderful and beautiful girl.
I remember the first day when you came on tripawds; we both had our girls with us. Only 3 days later I would lose mine. I always felt guilty because Riley's amputation came right after Comet dying. And then when you and Kurt sent me the beautiful memorial stone for Comet, I literally broke down because of the kindness from someone I hardly knew. I was so incredibly touched. Thank you.
Now, my Angel Comet can thank your Angel Riley for not just the stone but for making me smile with all the laughter we had in the last 7 months.
My heart hurts with sadness as I miss your dear Riley. I'm so sorry.
Hugs,
Ge'Lena
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
We are so sorry to hear that Riley is gone. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Like everyone else, I was very shocked and saddened to see this post. She was a beautiful girl. I hope you will soon be able to remember her with more smiles than tears.
Run free, Riley.

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. I can only echo what everyone else has said. I am so sad to see this today. I only hope Riley had no pain and suffering. My heart breaks for you guys, and I hope your pain is soon replaced with the beautiful memories that bring a smile when you remember sweet Riley.
Sending virtual hugs across the miles for you and your family.
RIP sweet Riley. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.
