It's been two weeks since we lost our beautiful Chaser, but surprises abound.
Cards, letters, calls. We even received a couple of donations to our local animal shelter in Chaser's name.
And then this. My husband was searching for the website of an animal specialty hospital we took Chaser to a few times for her eye exams. We needed to call and ask them to destroy her records for us.
Imagine his surprise when he clicked on the site and found this on their homepage:

Yep, that's our girl. We didn't know they were using her pic.
Beautiful Chaser, we are still so stunned that you didn't get to spend time with us here. But we know through little signs like this, that your Spirit will always be around to guide us.
Kelley, thanks for sharing this with us. We love serendipitous coincidences, they're a real sign that our kids are looking out for us.
And a great big thank you for your generous gift to the Campaign, we really appreicate your thoughtfulness.
Many hugs coming your way...

Oh what a beautiful girl and what a beautiful photo! That must have given you so much comfort and peace, not to mention a big smile on your face when you saw this. I am still in shock over your sudden loss of your beautiful girl and hope that your hearts are healing.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Kami (Mackenzie's Mom)
My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2 although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!
It means so very much to see that our heros touched someone else's heart. What a beautiful surprise.
Shanna & Spirit Trouble ~ Trouble gained her wings 3/16/2011, a 27 1/2 month cancer survivor, tail wagging. RIP sweetheart, you are my heart and soul. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.
The November Five - Spirits Max, Cherry, Tika, Trouble & Nova. 11/2008 - 3/2013 An era ends as Queen Nova crossed the Bridge.
What a beautiful girl.........sigh.
I would never in a million years push my own beliefs on anyone, so I hope I don't offend anyone by posting this. My own belief is in the continuity of life. I truly believe that souls/spirits live on and yes, I believe in that grand reunion where you're finally together again and you never have to be apart. I've had too many things happen that have changed me from an eye-rolling skeptic to a firm believer in *life after life*.
With that said, all of my loved ones (2 and 4 legged) have always found a special way to let me know that they're alright....that they're on the Other Side just waiting. They're whole and they're happy and we'll be together again.
In my mind, your girl just sent a big message to you 🙂
I guess it boils down to something I embrace: Just because I can't explain it, it doesn't make it any less real.
All I can say is WOW....that IS some sort of sign.... beautiful photo...our Tripawds sure do make an impact on people...
Tracy, Maggie's Mom

Karen and the pug girls
What a nice surprise. And a beautiful girl - I'd also like to reach out and kiss that nose!
Holly joined the world of tripawds on 12/29/2009. She has a big little sister, Zuzu, who idolizes Holly and tries to make all of her toys into tripawds in Holly's honor. And she's enjoying life one hop at a time!

Awwwww Chaser's love to everyone is immortalized! How special.
I'll have to show my husband. Chaser's sad ending got the better of him and made him stop 'secretly' reading the forums. Now he only asks me what's going on at The 'Pawds forums.
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
