Yesterday, Ge'lena sent me all the videos she'd made of Abby. (I could see them on YouTube, of course, but wanted to have copies for myself.) I watched all of them and was missing our beautiful girl. I asked her to send me a sign, since I hadn't had one since the Tripawd Warrior Princess-pink sky the night after she died. Later my hubby and I were going out to dinner. When I got out of the car, I saw a penny on the ground. At first I didn't think anything of it, but then I thought, hey, a penny; that's my sign. When I looked again, there were actually three pennies, laid out on the ground like Abby's Tripawd stance, two next to each other in the back and one to the left in the front.
Sure miss that beautiful girl,
Jackie
Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!
Awww I love that! A sign indeed.

Wow - Abby's really good at signs! I know it can be painful to miss someone that much. It's strange how those feeling come and go. Sometimes, for no apparent reason I'll miss the beautiful furfriend I grew up with. Other times it's others I've said goodbye to. Each seems to stop by to say 'hi' at different times and I miss them all. I think the missing moments are gifts that remind me of all the love I've been blessed with over the years. The difference being that over time the missing part lasts a few meditative minutes rather than days and days the way it does when the pain is fresh.
Enjoy the wonderful videos. Keep healing.

Awwww. Now, I'm all teary-eyed! What a wonderful sign indeed!
I miss seeing her here...GOSH! We had some wonderful times with her!
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.

WHAT??!!!! You tripawd mom's have got it all wrong!!!! Abby was SENDING ME THE SIGN! (I'm pretty sure she had a major crush on me!)
3 pennies on the 3rd day of the 3rd month for my 3rd birthday!!!!!!....................I think Abby was trying to tell Aunt Jackie that she was *suppose* to buy me a pony and a bouncey castle for my birthday. And that would explain why I didn't get anything! Sheesh!
Hope someone feels guilty.
You mean the pony didn't arrive yesterday???? I've gotta go make an angry phone call to Ponies Express!
(And... I think you have that backwards little MBBVP... you are remembering it all wrong. YOU had the crush on HER!)
Rita sends you a post-birthday nose-poke.

I miss that girl, too! It's always like a "penny" when she pops up in the header!
