Today is a very sad day in the Tripawds Nation.
We lost Chef, a brave, young Tripawd who gave it all he got to fight osteosarcoma for nearly two months.
What terrible shock, our hearts are so heavy with grief. He wasn't with us nearly long enough and his blog was always so much fun to read. Oh Jamilla, please know you are in our hearts and we send a collective hug to you tonight and always. Your boy will always be a part of our community, never forget that.
Watch over our Tripawd heroes Chef, we will miss you so much.

05/04/2006 - Bosch, Sassy's pal, earned his wings 03/29/19 fought cancer for 4 months.
"You aren't doing it TO her, you are doing it FOR her. Give her a chance at life."
This day started off bad, and got worse........my heart is breaking for you...... :'(

Liberty (Libby) was diagnosed with OSA on 1-22-13. Right front amputation on 1-31-13. No IV Chemo. Metronomic Therapy started 2-19-13 along with supplements and some home cooking. Lungs clear until 1-06-14. She's still her happy, hoppy, bossy self. Living the dog life to the fullest and a proud Winter Warrior. :) RIP my Libby 4-21-03 to 3-19-14

Jill is a 9-year-old tuxedo kitty. She was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in June 2012 on her toe in her right hind leg. Her leg was amputated on 12/12/12 and she completed four rounds of chemo (2 of Carbo, 2 of Doxy) in April 2013. Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
Murphy's Mom, Kathy, thought of you and Chef, Jamilla, when she saw this. She asked if I could share this for her. All Dogs DO go to heaven. Beautiful!

As you know from my post, I wanted so very badly to find words of comfort, but knew there were none. Christine left you a lovely "poem" tjat I know will help.
But this photo...THIS PHOTO is THE most beautiful image of "truth" and "proof" that our furbabies continue on.......and the clouds don't lie!
Chef will have the cutest cloud in all the Universe!

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Thank you guys for all these kind words, yesterday i couldnt read them i had to cry too much.
Today still but ive tried to read all of them.
You guys have been such a great help to us, thank you for that!
For now i am missing Chef every second of the day it just feels like my heart is ripped out.
It was best for him but it still sucks, i wish he was still here to cuddle and look at me like everything will be fine.
Oh man i miss him so much!
I'm sorry I wasn't able to get to the chat this morning Jamilla. I know how much it hurts to experience this kind of loss and I feel for you. Just know that Chef's spirit is still strong in your life, he isn't very far, and he will always be there. If you listen closely, and watch carefully, you'll see his light still shines.
