We lost our brave boy this morning. His organs were failing as a result of paraneoplastic syndrome, essentially fighting a cancer that had already been removed, so his body was attacking itself. His kidneys were affected most of all.
I will never ever forget him & feel priviledged to have shared my life with him. Thank you Tripawds community for making us so welcome in our short time with you. I will continue to visit & support.
Ragleys mum (claire)
Claire, I am truly sorry for your loss. It is the ones who don't get much time that really make me hurt. My heart is with you, and my hope is that you will soon have the pain you feel replaced with the loving memories that bring a smile to your face and to your heart.
RIP sweet Ragley. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.

Claire and Spirit Ragley,
Words cannot express just how sorry we are to hear that Ragley's journey and battle has come to conclusion, but we do hope that you can accept our deepest sympathy at this horrible time. Your battle was far too short but that does not diminish how hard you fought or the bravery that was shown by Ragley during that time. I totally echo your sentiment of remembering just how privilegedwe are to have shared our time with these warriors. While these bonds were extremely strong long before our battles with the cancer, somehow this last battle always seems to strengthen that bond. Please know that you did everything possible to return a quality of life to Ragley and in time, that knowledge will be some small comfort to you. Unfortunately, so very often we loose these battles, but that in no way diminishes the brave manner in which your family fought the battle. Please know that you will not be totally without Ragley for the gifts that Ragley gave you will live with you forever.
Our deepest prayers that you will be able to soon remember Ragley with a smile. Thank You for sharing his story. In time, his experience may help others as they travel down this journey.

Our hearts go out to you and we send lots of hugs. We hope Ragley is enjoying his time playing with our other pooches at Rainbow Bridge.

Chloe became a rear amp tripawd on 7-29-10. Another tumor was removed on front leg 2-20-14. Found 3rd tumor on neck 2-2015, but she's still kicking cancer's butt at age 14. Chloe's blog
We are hearbroken with you at the loss of your Ragley. He absolutely was a "Brave Boy". Each time we lose one of our treasured companions in this community, the loss feels so personal...to all of us. We feel it with you, and we understand.
We too lost our precious Honey, 2 short months after amputation to another type of cancer. It was sudden and swift. I was so hoping to have many more months with her but alas, that was not allowed. I am so sorry that your time after amputation was too breif as well. You fought heroically with your Ragley and he was fortunate to have you.
I am glad you were blessed with him and hope that in time your tears can be replaced with smiles when thinking about your Brave Boy.
Hugs and hugs,

Claire, we are so very sorry for you in this time of loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. As said by others there is only so much that can be said and it falls short of being able to help. God bless you!

Claire,
I'm sorry Ragley's journey ended so soon. I hope you find some peace in the fact that you did the best you could for your boy, you gave him every chance. And in the end you did the unselfish thing by letting him go.
I hope that the good memories will give you strength to get through this very difficult time.
Karen
Claire,
I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. Nothing that is said can heal the pain but please know that I am thinking of you at this difficult time. Eventually the grief will lessen and the tears will be replaced with smiles and lovely memories. Ragley will always be near you in spirit. I can feel Tai's presence around me all the time and it brings me great comfort. Take care.
Laura (Angel Tai's Mum)
Tai – 9 yr old lab. Diagnosed Osteosarcoma Dec 18/09. Front right leg amputated Dec 21/09. Started chemo Jan 7/10. Lung mets discovered Sept 16/10. Valiant to the end on Oct 26/10 when cancer reappeared in a leg and we made the decision to set her free. Forever in my heart where not even cancer can take her from me.
I am so sorry to hear of Ragley. I had a lot of hope that he'd recover. I'm just so very sorry.
Please know that we are here for you during this very difficult time. Please feel free to come over and talk and tell us all the great stories about Ragley that we didn't get hear.
In the meantime, may you find peace and love in your heart so that you can turn to all the good times with Ragely.
My deepest condolences,
Comet's mom
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
I'm so sorry that your brave Ragley's body is no longer here with you. His spirit however, is still around and I'm sure you will feel it often. Find comfort in the joy that was his life and find peace in knowing that your love released him from suffering.
Ranger and Sprit Sadie's Mom
Sadie is my 9yr old Rott/Shepherd mix. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right scapula 1/28/10. Our brave girl had her amputation 2/13/10 and her last chemotherapy on 6/6/10. Unfortunately, a tumor appeared in her back right leg and on 10/7/2010 Sadie's earthly journey came to an end. On 10/24/2010 we adopted Ranger, a handsome Rott/Lab mix tripawd (got hit by a car) I think Sadie sent him to us.
