Lori, I can't believe it. We are all stunned. And so, so sorry. Please, please know you are in our thoughts and hearts, and we are here for you when you want to talk.

Chuck will never, ever be forgotten. What an amazing, once-in-a-lifetime pup.

Oh, Lori.  I am so so so sorry.  Please know that you will be in my thoughts and prayers in these difficult days ahead.  I wish you all the peace and comfort in the world.  Run strong, beautiful Chuck.

Lisa

Zeus was a Husky mix diagnosed with Osteosarcoma at age 11.  A visible lung met and suspicious spot on his liver meant a poor prognosis-six weeks was our vet's best guess. We decided to fight for our boy and his right front leg was amputated on 12/1/11. We did six rounds of chemo, changed his diet and spoiled him completely rotten. We were blessed with 10 great months after diagnosis. Against the odds, the lung met remained a single met and grew very little over those months. A wonderful furbaby with the most gentle spirit, he fought with a strength that we never imagined he possessed. We have no regrets...

Lori-
Iam so shocked and sad for you. I had just read your earlier post about the fracture and then saw this on Facebook. You gave Chuck the best life ever and gave him the best chance to fight this sucky disease. I think I hear Shooter barking at him as he's always been a wimp about big dogs. You have the most beautiful guardian angel watching over you. He will be with you always.

Blessings-
Luanne and Spirit Shooter

Spirit Shooter was a Miniature Australian Shepherd who was diagnosed with a MCT and had a LF amp 1/28/13 at 13-1/2 years old.

Shooter crossed the Bridge on 8/28/13, his 7 month ampuversary and two weeks from his 14th birthday.

I could hardly read this through the tears. Lori, my heart is broken for you. You were the most loving mom to Chuck, and you know you did what was right for him even though it was devastatingly hard for you. Run free, Chuck. Nyou are an angel now.

Kathi and murphy

Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!

UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!

Lori,

I'm so very sorry that it was Chuck's time to make his journey to Rainbow Bridge.

Godspeed sweet Chuck. Run free with all of the hero angels that have gone before you. Please send your mommy pennies so she knows that you arrived safely.  Could please watch over Charley from up above since his OS just returned?

In time, may memories of your girl full your heart with happiness. Wishing you peace, strength, comfort, and love until you are all reunited again...

Hugs and chocolate Labby kisses,
