6 months ago when we lost GiGi we decided we would not (never) get another dog. Losing them was just too hard.
Well, a few weeks ago we decided that was the wrong decision. There was such a void in our lives.
I started watching Craigslist for another Doberman. On the 6th month anniversary of GiGi's crossing the bridge a 6 month old female Dodie popped up. We thought it was a sign and when we found out that her birthday was the exact day GiGi crossed the Bridge we knew it was meant to be.
So now we have a new family member and she is a hand full - all puppy even at 6 months old.
Ron,
I think your GiGi sent her to you. 6 months to the day, 6 months old and her exact birthday. Too many things the same to be anything but her sending the new baby to you. She wants you to give your heart to someone else. Wow, it seems that it was just the other day when I read about her passing.
Run Free GiGi and thank you for giving your pawrents a new baby to love

Sign?? Heck yeah!! It was an air mail letter sent directly to you with GiGi's paw print all over it!!!! GET A DOG MOM AND DAD:-)
I know you will always miss your lovely GiGi Andi also. ow GiGi will be watch I g over this pup ad sending some of her little tricks o. how to get spoiled by you!
I read a "letter" once from a dog who was crossing over to his human companion. It said that, even though he knew they would be sad, they MUST get another dog! Otherwise, he would feel like he failed and they didn't want one because he must not have been a good dog!
GI GI was a very, very good dog:-)
Please posts some photos of the pup GiGi sent you. Are you going to name her Maurice Chevalier (so?). Then again, you could be wondering who the heck is that!!
can't' wait for your updates AND, AGAIN, HOTOS!!!
EnjoyGi Gi's gift of love to you.......the kind that makes her sweet spirit infinite,
Sally and Happy Hannah
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Nope, no coincidences there.
Liberty (Libby) was diagnosed with OSA on 1-22-13. Right front amputation on 1-31-13. No IV Chemo. Metronomic Therapy started 2-19-13 along with supplements and some home cooking. Lungs clear until 1-06-14. She's still her happy, hoppy, bossy self. Living the dog life to the fullest and a proud Winter Warrior. :) RIP my Libby 4-21-03 to 3-19-14
Oh was this meant to be or what???! That is wonderful news, congratulations. We are so happy that you decided you had the strength to open your heart to a dog who really needs good people like you. What a lucky, lucky pup! What's her name? Let's see some pics!

Her new name is. Mia Bella. "My Beauty". We call her Mia
I have never conquered posting pictures here but, as soon as I can get her to stand still ill take some and try again.
Another strange thing is that I picked her up about a block from a friend/vet who cremated GiGi so I immediately took her there for a check up and vaccinations.
She is returning there today for spaying. Wish her Luck.
Lots of luck today, Mia!! So glad that she has found such a wonderful family!!
Joan and Lily
Our beautiful Lily was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her front leg on 12/14/11 at age 8 and had amp on 12/16/11. She completed 5 rounds of carbo. She was so brave and kicked cancer's butt daily! She lived life fully for 4 years, 3 months, and 15 days after her amp. My angel is a warrior princess. I miss her so much.
Good luck today Mia!
