I think I posted this awhile back like 4 years ago when my Sassy Sugar Bear crossed the Bridge. I know some of you are experience your first Christmas without your furbabies. So I thought I would re-post it.
My First Christmas in Heaven
I see the countless Christmas trees around the world below
With tiny lights, like Heaven's star, reflecting on the snow.
For I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.
I hear the many Christmas songs that people hold so dear,
But the sounds of music can't compare with the Christmas Choir up here.
I have no words to tell you, the joy their voices bring,
For it is beyond description, to hear the angels sing.
I know how much you miss me, I see the pain inside your heart,
But I am not so far away, we really aren't apart
So be happy for me, dear ones, you know I hold you dear
And be glad I'm spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.
I sent you each a special gift, from my heavenly home above.
I sent you each a memory of my undying love.
After all, love is a gift more precious than pure gold.
It was always most important in the stories Jesus told.
Please love and keep each other, as my Father said to do,
For I can't count the blessings of love he has for each of you.
So have a Merry Christmas and wipe away that tear,
Remember I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.

That's so beautiful. Thanks for sharing this today. Very thoughtful
For some of us, it's been several Christmases now and the happy memories of Christmas past pish forward and warm our hearts For those where the loss is so fresh, the grief is still so raw and painful. My Christmas wish would be that they take a moment to sit wuierly and focus on the loving bond, the wagging tails, the contented purring, and still KNOW the energy of their loved ones is still present. In fact, pay attention, there may even be a few obvious signs from them to let you know they are with you and watching over you. Yeah, even if you don't "believe" in signs
With love

Oh, and by the way! Everyone at the Rainbow Bridge lights a candle for all their beloved Spirit Beings still here jn our earth clothes! So not everything you see lighting the sky tonight is a Star, some of the twinkling you see is a candle!
Be sure and light a candle for your beloved ones in the Spirit clothes up at the Bridge. They'll know the twinkling lights they are seeing here on earth aren't street lights, but rather their LIGHT
Lights as bright as our @oved ones can NEVER be dimmed

Thank you for posting this. We lost our Tripawd Chuy last month. It has been hard without him here. Our other two dogs are not the same since he has been gone. All is different. I know he is whole again, running free with all the others. We still miss him.
Chuy, showing everyone that Tripawds do everything 3 times better than regular dogs!
We miss him too Eleanor, and send lots of love and hugs to your pack today and always.

Thanks, Michelle, and Sally, too ... you know how hard this first Christmas without Murphy is. I've had a part of him here with me today, thanks to Rene (and a special friend).
