Sorry I haven't been back sooner.

Thank you all so much for your thoughts and support. I'm still looking for her everywhere and listening for her, every sound I hear I think it's her, then I remember.

Wanted to put a picture here but can't figure out how.  She was so beautiful and such a good dog.

oh my gosh Jill you don't need to apologize, that's totally understandable. We are always here for you.

I know what you mean about your mind playing tricks on you. I've read that it's actually a normal part of grieving. But there was this one incident when my pawrents were in their early stage of grief, when I proved that I really was there!

Here is a post about adding images to the Forums. If you want more help you can feel free to PM me, I'm hoppy to do it for you.

Jill and the Lovely Emma--

For whatever reason, I must saw your post today. Maybe somehow my subconscius blocked it out for a day or two. Had I respo ded earlier I may nt have seen Jerry's post with the link to this one incident.

With all my heart and soul, I also believe that yo will...and are....finding Emma's presence all around you. Right ow your grief is so immense I'm sure it's just to difficult to magine that her energy is still with you. Yes, in different form now, but still with you.

Emma knows how much you love her. She took some of that love with her, but she also left some of her love here with you. She has given you a lifetime of hapoy memories that are there for you to embrace when you can. She kows you are sad, but she would want you to think of the love and fun you had together when you can.

When I look at that icture of Emma on the avatar, she just melts your heart! You can just see the sweetness and gentleness that clearly defines, in part, who she is! What a lovey, lovely soul.

I hope you do take Jerry up on her kind offer to help post pictures of your sweet girl. We would all look forward to that.

You did everything you could for her...gave her every chance possible...and she k ows that. NOTHING will EVER separate the bond of love you two have. And by the way, keep paying atte tion to sounds and "glimpses"....Emma is feeling ood and letting you know it.

Please stay connected to us. We understand as well as anyone can. We are nere for you.

Love,

Sally and Happy Hannah

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

Thanks for the instructions.  Took me awhile, but finally got it.

This picture was just before she was euthanized.

This was a week or so before.  This was her last pleasure - being outside in the sun.

Sally, thanks for your kind words.  You always know the right thing to say!
