charon & spirit gayle
Life is good, so very, very good!!! Gayle enjoyed each and every moment of each and every wonderful day (naps included). She left this world December 12, 2011 – off on a new adventure.
Love Never Ends
I'm so very sorry you lost your Bentley today. Like Charon said, we'd love to hear more about him, and sharing memories of your beloved dog really does ease the pain. Sending hugs your way.
Catherine and Spirit Scout
Scout: January 31, 2002 to November 7, 2011
Scout's diagnosis was "poorly differentiated sarcoma"; amputation 1/11/2011. Scout enjoyed 9 fantastic years on 4 legs and 9 glorious months on 3 legs. If love alone could have saved you…
We are very, very sorry to hear this.
You've come to the right place, we all understand the depth of this kind of loss. Please share his story with us when you are up to it. Writing, journalling, anything creative done in honor of his life and the bond you shared can help you feel better.
We send our deepest sympathies.

My deepest condolences to you and your family in your loss with Bentley. I'm sorry his time came too late before we knew more about him. Please share when you feel up to it.
May you find peace in your heart from his love.
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Awww. Poor Bentley. I just can't understand why Dogs can't live longer. Their lives seem so short and they are such wonderful creatures. It's just not fair. It's only been 3 weeks since I lost my Valentina and I can say there is no easy way to get through this. I'm still waiting for time to heal me. I'm still going though. Lots of prayer is what has gotten me this far and I know eventually it will also get me to a place where I can be more positive about what has happened like focusing on the wonderful memories instead of wallowing in sadness. I think we just have to give ourselves time and it takes alot longer than you think. Praying for you to have peace and comfort in time when you think of Bentley. I know he was such a blessing in your life. Dogs have such an amazing power that way.
Sorry to hear about your loss of Bentley. If it helps to write about him, we'd love to hear more about him.
He will always be with you in your heart.
Jackie, Angel Abby's mom
Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!
So sorry to hear that Bentley lost his battle. There are many of us here who've recently been through the loss of our pups, and we understand how difficult this time must be for you. We are sending you and your family our support and hope that it helps even just a little to ease the pain.

I am so sorry about Bentley. Having lost my Sammy a few months ago, I know how your heart must be aching. The first few weeks are the hardest, but remembering Bentley and the joy he brought to your lives is helpful. You did everything you could to save him, but cancer is an evil force seldom defeated by our brave warriors. I hope you find comfort thinking of Bentley, whole and pain-free, running with all of the other beautiful furkids across the Rainbow Bridge.
Please do let us know more about Bentley. We would love to hear about him. He mattered.
Beth & Spirit Smilin' Sammy
Smilin' Sammy, March 16, 2004 – Dec. 5, 2011
Golden retriever, diagnosed with osteosarcoma in September 2010 — right front leg amputated November 2010. He fought valiantly to stay with us; but a second diagnosis of osteosarcoma, this time in his left front leg, was more than our golden warrior could overcome. He loved his pack — and everyone else he met.
We loved him even more.
Thanks for the pennies, Sammy. They helped.
