Oh Holly's mum we have just read what happened!! We are so sorry and saddened by your news as we were really hoping for good news on Holly's diagnosis and recovery. We can totally understand how you feel, it is so devastating and we are thinking about you at this time. You and Holly fought so hard and you did so much for her, giving her a chance that many people would not have been brave enough to do.
All our love xx
I think writing on her blog is a good idea, when you feel up to. Everyone needs to find an outlet for their grief. For me, writing helps. Also I worked on a scrapbook of pictures. I hope the writing helps somewhat.
Thinking of you guys, and hoping a Monkeybutt will step up into the Take Care of Mommy role.

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!
Alex,
Your words are touching. Holly was a special, special girl. Writing her story and sharing her pictures is a wonderful way to keep her memory alive.
Please feel free to lean on us. We may not have fur to catch the tears, but we have big broad shoulders to help ease your burden of pain.
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
I have tried to post on here a couple of times but wasn't able to make it stick. I'm so sorry for your loss, Holly was an incredible looking girl and it is so apparent how much she was loved. It doesn't seem fair to have such a short time after her diagnosis 🙁
Many hugs,
Elizabeth

I couldn't begin to say how special Sammy is to us. Living and laughing with and loving this wonderful boy is priceless.
We are so sorry to hear about your sweet Holly girl. We were so hoping for a miracle and that her spine issues could be resolved. She was a completely loved girl and you did everything for her.
Sending much love and biggest hugs to you
