Jess and the Sweet Athena,
Yes, you were there to comfort her and to let her know she was not alone. That was the way she wanted it. She let you knkw it was her time and she knew you would give her your ult ate gift of love. Knowing you were there took the fear away. No, she wasn't in a horrible pain...there is a huge difference between that and being uncomfortable She was at peace knowingnhow michyou loved her.
We all wish we could take your pain away though. She knows you are heartbroken and she wants you to glue that heart back together again with those joyful, loving memories of a life well lived.
For example.....that pupy picture...OMD!! That definitely has soe heart mending glue on it! Actually, all those pictures represent so much foryou. That peaceful, content look after surgery...and that noble strong proud and feeling good look in her "adult" picture......they are all so beautiful in so man different ways.
We love you and Athena Jess. I wish our love could could push away the sadness, but it can't. Eventually Athena will do that for you in er own way.
Thank you so much for coming back and sharng those treasured pictures. I PROMISE, she will always be remembered here! NOBODY could forget a sweet soul with such a great mug!!!
