Today we said goodbye to our beautiful Misty girl. Two and a half years was much too short. My heart will forever be broken.

Life is good, so very, very good!!! Gayle enjoyed each and every moment of each and every wonderful day (naps included). She left this world December 12, 2011 – off on a new adventure.
Love Never Ends
There's never enough time with our pups, but two years is so very little time. We are sad to hear that Misty is gone, and hope that soon the good memories will replace the sad ones...

So very sorry to hear about Misty. I lost my lab to cancer at 2 years, it's just WAY too soon to say goodbye. Sending you comforting thoughts and peace as you grieve.
Sue and Queen Nova
Dane Mom Sue at nova.tripawds.com and Mom to Beautiful Great Dane Queen Nova, a Blind Tripawd, who kicked cancer's butt from 11/08-03/13. The Queen is Spirit Nova now, but her legacy lives on here at Tripawds!
Oh, I'm so sorry to hear this. Having a 2 year old OSA girl myself, this news really hits hard.
As others said, no amount of time would be "enough" but that is just damned unfair. You just never expect that your "puppy" will get cancer. I hate this disease!
I hope you take some consolation in knowing that she didn't know she got cheated. All she knew was the love you gave her and the love she felt for you and her pack.
We are sharing your grief. Run free, beautiful Misty.
Sending hugs and healing Abby kisses,
Jackie, Abby's mom
Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!
My family was very sorry to learn of the loss of your sweet, beautiful Misty. There are no words to take away your pain...wish there were. For the time Misty was on earth, you gave her the best life, and that was the most important thing for her. You are left to grieve, but she is now whole and running freely, just waiting for you. Try to remember that--you did all you could for her..I will take care of her for you until you meet again...

Oh no!
I'm so, so sorry. It is unfair. I think about my Rocket who isn't quiet 3 years old and I just can't imagine what it would be like.
I'm am just so deeply sorry about Misty.
My deepest condolences to you and your family. Please know we are here, if you need anything.
