Beth,
I'm so sorry to hear about Max... I know that you gave him the best life and I'm sure he knew how much you loved him. I know how broken your heart must be right now... but take comfort in knowing that Max is no longer in any pain, and is running free at the Rainbow Bridge...
You and your hubby are in my thoughts and prayers... Rest in peace sweet Max...

Jake lost his battle on 11/9/2009, almost 8 weeks after his surgery. We will never forget our sweet golden angel… http://jakesjou.....ipawds.com ….. CANCER SUCKS!
Beth,
I'm so sorry to hear that Max has left you. It has been two weeks today that our Max left for the Rainbow Bridge, so I'm hoping that our beloved Max boys have found each other there and are running together with their other (formerly tripawd) friends. My heart and thoughts are with you.
Jeanette
Proud mother of Max, an 11-year-old Border Collie mix who was sure he was a Real Boy.
Diagnosis of osteosarcoma of the left rear leg and lymphoma in February 2010.
That annoying leg was removed April 7, 2010 and was never missed.
Max left for the Rainbow Bridge on July 29, 2010 and is now running free. We love you!
Beth, I'm deeply, deeply sorry for your loss of Max. He was heartbreakingly young.

Beth and Family,
I have no words that would comfort you, as at this time they would sound meaningless. Max was a very lucky dog to have had you in his life. He received the utmost love and care that any dog could want.
My heart aches for you, as Max was so young. I have to believe that these dogs come into our lives for a reason, one we may never know or understand, but certainly a reason. Whether they are with us 6 months, or 17 years, they will always leave pawprints on our hearts.
Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family through this time.
Alexander and Baylee will be having ice cream tonight.

I am so sorry for your loss. My Bullmastiff Zeke is not doing well now and his days are limited. Max was so young, I don't even know what to say. I have a weakness for these Mastiff breeds. You did the right thing and as pet owners, this is our ultimate responsibility, even though it's truly one of the hardest things in life. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family and may it bring you comfort to know that Max is now pain-free! Hang in there.
Dhiannon (Zeke's Mom) & Zeke, a 7 year old male Bullmastiff, front left leg amputated on 7-12-2010 due to a joint tumor. Zeke earned his wings on 8-13-2010, we will miss our big boy forever! We love you Zeke!!
Beth, as the others before me have said, I am so very sorry for your loss.
What an awesome job you did making sure the decisions you made were the best for Max. You have great strength and wisdom, we can all learn from you. May the beautiful memories soon replace the pain you feel today.
RIP sweet Max. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.
Shanna & Spirit Trouble ~ Trouble gained her wings 3/16/2011, a 27 1/2 month cancer survivor, tail wagging. RIP sweetheart, you are my heart and soul. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.

I can't add much to the words everyone else has said. I am also so very sorry for your loss of sweet Max and am thinking of you at this most challenging time. He sure did brighten up your lives but it might be a while before you can appreciate that through the pain you are feeling now (which really sucks - we know).
I will have ice cream, or maybe a glass of wine, in his honor tonight!
Susan
Beth, so sorry for your loss. We lost Gus July 26, 2010, not even 4 months after his surgery, I hate what this crap puts us through. I never knew what the rainbow bridge was about until after Gus died, and I sure hope it works out the way the poem reads, cause if it does, we are alll going to be some really happy people, so lets hope Max is up there playing with Gus and the others we have all lost and maybe someday we will all have a big tripawd party. Our thoughts are with you, Spirit Gus and Dan
My buddy Gus had a left front amputation on April 7, 2010 and lived a great life until July 26,2010
